31. Reply to 3. Women and tallitot
Sherlock Holmes ,   London England   (05.12.13)
The mitzvah of course is the tzitzit and not the tallit. Saying women may wear tzitzit does not mean they should wear the standard male tallit. Let them use a different fabric. Today women's dresses do not have four corners, although some men's jackets do have four proper corners. I'm not aware that any accepted posek in the past two hundred years [ e.g. Chasam Sofer, Chofetz Chaim, Dayan Abramsky, Reb Moshe Feinstein] has viewed the mitzvah of tzitzit as equally binding on both sexes.
32. Supreme Court Ruling
Joseph ,   London England   (05.12.13)
When the Supreme Couer considered all sides and gave the Women of the Wall the section of the western Wall known as Robinson's Arch, the Court affirmed that the western wall Plaza should follow the majority Minhag Jerusalem, which is broadly Orthodox. Now nine years later a local court is trying to reinterpret the Supreme Court, just as Sharanski received support from all sides to formalise Robinson's Arch as the site for less traditional services. The WoW have announced they will stay at the Western Wall Plaza and continue to offend the women of Jerusalem for whom this is their local shul.
33. These women are hypocritical radical feminists
Baruch ,   Boston, USA   (05.12.13)
The Reform movement long ago rejected the notion of rebuilding the Temple, of return to Jerusalem (Berlin was the new Jerusalem), of praying as Jews do, especially daily, of wearing religious garb, like Tallitot, Tefilin, and kippot, and of praying traditionally. Now all of sudden they are the keepers of the faith? Give me a break. They are driven by hatred of Judaism and hatred of men.
34. If Hashem came....
Ezra ,   Sandiego ca   (05.13.13)
If Hashem appeared and scared all of us to the bone, would we ALL stop fighting? I think so. EVERYONE.... Fear Hashem, and this infighting will stop.
35. Rabbis against Jews
Taxpayer ,   Hod Hasharon   (05.15.13)
These so called rabbis may represent themselves but they sure as hell do not represent any Jewish values- I appreciate that they feel a deep down desire to turn Israel into a kosher Iran, and that they feel the need to split the Jewish people in two - but they should at least have the decency to recognize their role in driving masses of Jews away from organized religion.
