Israel is a democracy and whatever the Government decides on any matter, the Knesset has to approve it. If the decision contravenes the Basic Law, Israel's constitution, the High Court of Justice can overrule a Government decision just as the US Supreme Court can and has done. Apology, Compensation, End Blockade, and Suits All should progress simultaneously

Israel should file a countersuit against those trying to break a legal blockade, and those who supported them, such as the Turkish government. Remember that many on board made believe they were peaceful activists, and proved who they were by their actions of joining the attempted breaking of a legal blockade, and attempting to stop the boarding of their ship (which, by law, is preferred to be done in international waters). Maybe the individual soldiers who were subjected to attack should collectively commence their own legal suit against the government of Turkey and anyone else who aided and abetted in this crime.
