Yehuda Z ,   Ashdod, ISRAEL   (05.13.13)
Kol HaKavod to these boys for insisting on keeping the business in Israel! Too many entrepreneurs have taken the money and run to ChU"L as fast as the nearest jet could take them.
2. Maybe Waze should have gone with Apple
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (05.13.13)
Of course, Apple never confirmed they were in talks to buy Waze months ago. But if such a deal had gone through, based on Apple's purchase of Anobit, the company's relocation wouldn't have been an issue. Not only didn't Apple relocate Anobit personnel to Cupertino, they *increased* their presence in Israel. First, the company announced they would be establishing their first overseas development center ... in Israel. Then they hired scores of engineers let go by TI Israel.
3. "Waze"
TheMonkeyMan ,   Arabia   (05.14.13)
"Waze" is a palestinian invention stolen by the "Israelis." Just like they stole the land. I know for a fact that two Palestinians invented it, and Israeli soldiers came to their house at gunpoint and stole it. It is not surprising that the truth is not told in regular media. Google it. Believe me- this was yet another stolen idea from the Palestinians. Come on guys, this is getting ridiculous. Stop stealing the ideas, stop stealing the land.
4. #3 - typical Arab conspiracy paranoia
Josh ,   Usa   (05.15.13)
You "you know for a fact" that Israelis stole Waze?!:) Just like I'm sure you "know" that the Mossad perpetrated 9/11 and 4,000 Jews "didn't go to work that day." Such jealousy, two people's, one a tiny sliver of the global population creating world class technology and winning Nobel Prizes left and right. And the second group of people, 1.2 billion of you, mired in backwardness and poverty as Asia and the West leave you behind. Grow up my friend!
5. Good for Waze staying in Israel
Scott ,   Ramat Gan, Israel   (05.16.13)
Facebook is becoming evil like Google who spies on its users. Limit how often you use Facebook so it hurts their advertising revenue or better yet close it. MySpace is making a comeback with a new design.
6. MonkeyMan #3 If that was an attempt at humor
Jake   (05.16.13)
it's pretty damn unfunny. Waze Ltd. was founded in 2008 in Israel by Uri Levine, software engineer Ehud Shabtai, and Amir Shinar. The company was originally called Linqmap. In December 2011 Waze employed 80 people, 70 at Ra'anana, Israel and 10 in Palo Alto, California. Try again, MonkeyMan.
7. Thank you waze
keren levy ,   Israel   (01.30.14)
I think, Waze is such a stunning app that thanks to her people all over the world can drive where ever they would like to with knowing they are safe. I can understand why it was so important to Google to buy Waze! Waze also is a social app that can give you the chance to share your location and by that finding your friends location too so you will be able to meet them. In other worlds I am grateful for this Israelis that made our life easier and better on the roads.
