Having a PM is expensive, they are expected to live a certain standard of living. You go to any developed country and you will find the PM or president has a high standard of living. Firstly expenses vary from PM - PM for a variety of reasons such as cost of living, If you have a PM with a younger family then they are also going to add to the expenses but if you have an older person whose children have flown the roost then you don't have to worry about expenses like that. With clothing Bibi represents the country and so cannot be expected to wear a cheap badly fitting suit etc The PM and his wife who accompanies him on many official events also has a personal stylist. Sarah Netanyahu though doesn't have the stylist put her makeup on every day. Also a fact its somebody else who chooses stylist to hire and negotiates the salary not Bibi so you can't blame him for that. Things like the ice cream, they full facts of that have not been explained, there actually is probably a very good non controversial reason behind all this but very good reasons don't sell news papers but headlines about the cost of ice cream do. The bed on the plane Bibi knows nothing about the cosy, he tells his aids what he wants they sort it but again headlines sell newspapers not fine detail. As for the cost of the running of his private homes there is an argument that unless the private home is being used for an official function related to his being PM the only expense the state should pay should be the cost of security and basic cleaning because the private home still needs to be guarded and kept clean. The majority of these expenses though are probably quite legitimate,

(as I remember) was serving at first as his residence while the official residence was being renovated. So of course the state had to pay costs for that address. Why is that not mentioned here? Also Bibi was earning much more in business before he returned to politics, so it is absurd to accuse him of profiteering as PM; he is serving at a financial loss.
