Can we please get rid of the Russian missiles, so that Iran can sleep better knowing that it should not support terrorism ?
2. Dont kick a sleeping Giant - He is watching you
Sam Sweiry ,   Eastbourne - UK   (05.21.13)
Just because Israel doesnt respond immediately - doesnt mean Israel is weak - those silly people on the otherside of the fence have no common sense in there head - just because Isral did not respond immediately - they think they can laugh at there stupid game
3. See how easy that was?
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.21.13)
Like taking candy from a baby. "Condolences" to the families of the dead Syrians stupid enough to think that Israel would tolerate their target practice. Best to take them out of the gene pool now .... and we did. Point your guns elsewhere, Syrians. Rebels as well. Unless you, too, wish to meet a Tamuz, up close and personal. It will be the last thing you'll ever do.
4. We ain't seen nothing yet.

Restraint is the better course for Israel for the time being. It will have plenty of chances to assert itself down the road.

6. Syrian rebels prevent Assad to get Golan back From Israel
Tayfun_Turkey ,   Istanbul   (05.21.13)
Assad is seen as a hero by 80% of Turkish People including mostly Sunnis. Turkish government has no support on Syrian issue. Syrian rebel forces are israili supported killers and that is another example of Al-queda mossad collaboration!

how do you know that the majority in Turkey is behind this dictator esad.Did you make a survey door by door ?!Speak for yourself and your idology.I'm not a supporter of the syrian regime and so don't 80% of Turkey's population support that killer government of Syria.Don't make comments here on behalf of all Turkey.

You really do need to get back on your anti-psychotic medication, Typhoon. Israel has no interest in internecine Arab conflict -- they can kill of each other, as far as we are concerned. But we do have an interest in the transfer of weapons from Syria to Hezbollah (we've stopped three attempts, and we will stop any others that may come along; rest assured) and we do have an interest in protecting and defending Israeli citizens and Israeli territory. Syria recovering the Golan? That is not going to happen. And there is no "collaboration" between Israel and Al Qaeda. Contrary to popular belief, the enemy of my enemy isn't necessarily my friend. I must say, though -- Syria, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and Hezbollah are taking quite a beating. It's probably not the best idea to involve Israel in the mix. We'll demolish them all, and any rebels in the mix, as well. Or haven't events on the ground convinced you yet? Of course, you are delusional .....

10. barak woudl not have responded
marv   (05.21.13)
unlike barak who would not have responded to syrian provocations whether assad or rebels or hezbollah, yaalon responded. He is not trigger happy but will orient idf to let it all out and iincinerate the arabs, best represented by qatar, a fat lying 2 faced pack of coward country. Barak not only did not respond, he offered concessions at the same time that he permitted an israeli response. Haaretz and ynet trumpeted the great general barak with all his medals that had everyone running to him including biibi. He fought with ashkenazi and yaalon, he undercut israeli negotiationg position in the same way that livni undercuts israeii positions since erekat knows her previous offers. With yaalon, israel will be like a coiled spring and let the whole force out to incinerate the arabs forces hezbollah or otherwise. and the press will not be allowed close by to produce another goldstone.
11. Tamuz missile
(05.21.13)
Nice! Quote... Tamuz missile based on Spike Long-Range Missile developed by Rafael, operated by elite Meitar unit in IDF Artillery Corps. The missile has a range of 25 km. and can penetrate armored vehicles. It can come with a different anti-personnel warhead. The missile is launched from an armored personnel carrier from two launchers, each of which is capable of carrying three missiles. The APC can carry an additional four missiles inside. The Tamuz uses an advanced electro-optic camera that transmits the image of its target back to operators inside the APC, who then manually drive it toward the target. Tamuz teams work closely with an artillery unit, which operates Hermes 450 reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles that provide the intelligence on the targets that are then attacked by the Tamuz missile. ...unquote
12. #6 Syrian rebels prevent Assad from
Get Real ,   UK   (05.21.13)
getting back the Golan. The Assads have had nearly 40 years to do so, what has stopped them?. And Israel is now collaborating with Al-Q? But I thought that the Rebels had promised to take Jerusalem after Damascus.. And I thought earlier accusations were that Israel had collaborated with Assad in order for there to be calm between the two countries for 40 years. Just shows how mixed-up some observers can be when it comes to taking the opportunity to condemn Israel over the Syrian situation. Meanwhile Israel is content to let the Syrians continue massacring each other and has shown it will respond to whoever threatens or attacks it.
13. Tayfun #6, Looks to me like you Turks supported both sides
Jake   (05.21.13)
ErDOGan was Assad's best friend, and now he's his worst enemy. Looks like Turkey is playing both sides in the Syrian civil war against eachother, in order to increase Turkish power and influence in former Ottoman territory. Both sides employ brutal barbarian tactics, which is sure to resonate with Turks nostalgic for their glorious Ottoman past. For the record, Israel supports neither side and does not get involved in the Syrian civil war. As far as Israel is concerned, Assad is "the devil we know" and the rebels are "the demons we can only imagine". They can slaughter eachother to their heart's content, and eat eachother's hearts out while at it.
