1. Apple in Istanbul

How about a *real* Apple store in Israel instead of the sorry excuse for a reseller that provides such un-Apple like service!

I took my laptop into iDigital because had a problem the woman was useless she didn't know what the problem was so she suggested a fresh install. She said I could take it away with me do it myself come back another day or they would do it for me for about 200 shekel. Takes about 15 minutes to do a proper fresh instal but they were not willing to do it for me whilst I waited. In the end I went got something to eat and did the install myself then came back in the hope there was an appointment and thankfully got computer working properly again but service was awful.
3. getting specific

Well, I didn't want to get specific, but here's one of my stories with the aforementioned company. My power cable was peeling away. Given that I had had the computer under a 3 year warranty (including the power cable - at least as mentioned on their website), I took it in and then was blamed for mis-wrapping the power cable around the charger (yeah, right). After quite a fight, I realised that I wouldn't get anywhere with them, so I called Apple in the US. They told me that the cable for my model was actually defective and that the store should replace it. They even asked to speak with the person in charge, but she refused to speak with Apple, claiming that 'they're not my employer'. The Apple rep sensed my frustration and MAILED ME a brand new charger, profusely apologising for the substandard service in Israel. I have followed up with Apple on this story but haven't received a response. I wonder how much longer it will take until Apple realises how much the reseller is ruining their reputation here.
4. Reseller posing as Apple
Ehud ,   Tel Aviv   (05.27.13)
I hadthe same experience. Most of the people there are nice, but few are truly competent, and the system (waiting in line at the cashier like in an Israeli postal office) is a far cry from Apple's service anywhere else (salesperson coming to you with a device). This is the good old Israeli licensed reseller deal, where someone gets a monopoly and takes a cut protected by ridiculous import taxes, and delivers bad service. Does anybody know why there is no Apple shop in Israel?
5. Why no Apple store in Israel?

Because your market is way too small. There are more people living in Istanbul than all of Israel.
