Also, only 1 African country is in the poll. How would Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Libya, and Sudan do in this poll? How were the countries included in the poll selected? Certainly not by population as Israel is by far the smallest nation in the poll. Israel has 8 million, NK is next with 24 million. This poll doesn't say anything of value.

The poll authors obviously wanted to test global perception of EU as a whole, in addition to the 16 selected countries. If I were you I'd be more concerned about Israel's position in this sample rather than getting your brains stuck on the inclusion of EU.

There's no doubt about that. The strongest economy, the best football team/s, the most successful prime minister (Bundes Chancellor), the lowest unemployment rates, most influential voice abroad, the continent's most attractive capital in Berlin etc etc....
