I can fully understand that Israel would be on the bottom of any poll because of the way it is shown in world media. But when a sane person like myself sees North Korea in 15th place out of possibly a world of 200 countries ... something is out of whack with this polling.

No, only the 15 countries named were on the list, plus the European Union. But the fact that the European Union was included skews the poll anyway. For one thing, some of the member states of the EU are listed separately. For another, there is a world of difference between living in France or Germany and living in Malta or Croatia -- all four countries are members of the EU. In sum, it's a worthless poll.

Please don't concern yourselves with this nonsensical 'poll'. No one here in Britain takes the BBC seriously in any way. It has been engulfed in so many scandals and has been accused of so much biased reporting on everything from Israel to 'man-made' climate change that it has become a parody of itself. It's employee turnover is vast and had it not been for the forced payment of our ' licence fee' it would be reduced to a backwater of PC idiocy watched only by myopic readers of the Guardian and the Independent.
