I think that many people around the world now realize that it is hard to know what is truly going on in these countries that have been ruled by dictators since their inception. Who is the bad guy? Is there a good guy at all? As we know from our democratic and open societies, things are not always black and white. So just imagine how complex this can be in a dictator country like Syria. The British and French invented multiculture countries where the minority rules a majority against its will, so they could retain their control of foreign nations and their resources. They wanted a "steady state" where the minority must use enough brutality to survive, but not so much that the majority rebels. Fast forward to now, Obama's stupidity led to the current massacre. If he (and previous American presidents) had unreservedly supported Israel, the Middle East would have evolved towards peace. Instead, Obama decided to destroy the brutal minority rule, bringing on an even more brutal civil war.
