1. Another confirmation

Another confirmation of Muslim hatred, intolerance and refusal to live by sports etiquette and civilized conduct.
2. Ilana Kartysh's Heart
gregg bowman ,   Parksville   (06.02.13)
Dearest IIana, I am a Canadian man living in BC. You have a wonderful attitude and a lovely heart!! It is so nice to see someone with your level of patience when competing with people that have no respect or honor. If I was there I would take you out for a nice espresso. I am very proud of you!! Many blessings.....warmly, Gregg
3. Well done but how was her Egyptian opponent
Adam ,   Ramat Gan   (06.02.13)
allowed to continue? Amazing determination which I wish were more evident in Israeli sport like football. Belief and desire is bereft in Israeli sport. Very proud of this young lady.

R ,   Israel   (06.02.13)
Ilana is a true champion, having won in spite of the disgraceful cheating and pathetic behavior of Anas. Anas should be banned from any further competition.

Justjams ,   Jerusalem   (06.02.13)
Why dont they have the video of the fight or pictures of bite marks? Or the other side of the story...... It takes 2 to tango
13. re: free palestine and then u will be respected
israelit ,   negev, israel   (06.02.13)
u can't free something that doesn't exist. however, there IS a problem of occupation - by interloping arabs from other countries. feel free to leave at any time (the sooner, the better), and don't let the door whack u on the way out. better yet, we'll pack ur bags and hold the door for u. see ya!
14. And was she punished ??Finish story!

15. #8 Go away.
Dagan   (06.02.13)
16. As a former athlete
Isac   (06.02.13)
I can only say: I am proud of you Ilana! You are much better than any Islamic fascist want to be athlete. The behavior of that Egyptian opponent was unfair and disgusting! Take this experience in growing even stronger to win for sure the next championship. That will be your best reward.
17. Wild imagination
M.A.El Batta ,   Athens,Greece   (06.02.13)
This is just an ugly lie by Krtysh, One can understand denying the handshake, but biting till bleeding and breaking fingers during the game...this is only a wild imagination unless the game took place totally without judges, coaches ,,,and even audience,,,let alone the cameras and TV
18. Where were the referees????
Israeli grandma   (06.02.13)
Something missing from this report. Where were the judges, referees etc. surely the Egyptian vile behaviour must have been seen by all?
19. No. 8
Tutu Frutu ,   Tel Aviv   (06.02.13)
Palestine is free, and it's now called Israel...before your fantastic propaganda machine changed history and even stole our identity to cover up your own dubious origins.
20. #8 Did you notice that Anas still got beat?
NudNik69   (06.02.13)
That's right. Hopeless. Vile. Taught to hate from birth - true barbarians. But not good enough to overcome decency and prowess. Great result. BTW. You people have never got anywhere with your behaviour and never will. Suck it all in.
21. Mostafa's Bad Behavior
Steve B. ,   Dayton USA   (06.02.13)
Another example of Egyptian racism. Mostafa hurt herself as who in their right mind would want to wrestle her now?
22. We're proud of you!
Sarah ,   Jerusalem ISRAEL   (06.02.13)
Bravissima, Ilana!! You've made us all proud! Not just for winning, but for your determination and sportsmanship!
23. Yet again ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.02.13)
... Egypt got its ass kicked. How nice for sport, given the despicable qualities of its representative. It's not exactly as if Egypt hasn't had its ass kicked by Israel before. It's Egypt's destiny to get beaten by Israel. If they haven't learned it until now, they've learned it again -- this time in a sports arena. Egypt should be singled out for criticism for the behavior of its disgusting athlete and her very unsportsmanlike behavior. And the Egyptian wrestler should be permanently banned from competition.
24. #8, which Palestine are you talking about?
Resilient   (06.02.13)
The only Palestine the world should know about is the one where Jews have lived for the past 4,000 years and the one called Palestina by the Roman conquerors. As for biting Ilan, she should have been extra careful not to wrestle with bitches. But even if she was bound to do it, Ilana is not to blame. On the contrary, she deserves every credit for her patience and resilience.
25. mazal tov
daniela   (06.02.13)
Mazal Tov Ilana. Did you have any rabid vaccine after the Egyptian bite you? You know.. with all the hate I would have taken a vaccine. And I expect that this person ( who should not even be called an athlete) would be expelled from competition. She does not perform any sport just hate
26. You cannot chose your family...
(06.02.13)
But you can chose your friends and your ennemies...
27. fingers and bites
charles   (06.02.13)
Please readers... see if we can post some footage from the fight.. showing this behavior.... it is very odd that a nutcase fighter who breaks fingers and bites.. was allowed to continue a fight. even more odd.. is how a wrestler with 2 broker fingers... can then go on to win the Gold in the Final. I mean I know she's good... but could she win the fight one handed ???
28. article doesnt mention reaction
Lemmings Hotline ,   sd usa   (06.02.13)
was she disqualified , reprimanded?
29. Why did the referees let the Egyptian fight?
jrebecca ,   modiin   (06.02.13)
If she could not even do the standard starting handshake she should not have been allowed to fight. They should have known she would not keep to the rules.
30. Arabs and Muslims savage beasts!
Phoenix ,   Israel   (06.02.13)
Keep showing to the world how disgusting, primitive, ignorant, vile and evil they are! They don't understand the meaning of respect in sports or anything they are just full of hate and evil.
