1. Bibi to Abbas: Take our sole tiny Homeland. PLEASE!
Chaim ,   Israel   (06.05.13)
When will Israel ever have a P.M. like WInston Churchill? A P.M. with the guts to treat the P.A. as the genocidal enemy it is? Bibi is pathetic!
2. The PM is an idiot.,.he pines to the cameras and is all
aL   (06.05.13)
about PR. His nauseating appeals are worry some.
3. Obviously Israel suffers from Survivors Syndrome: guilt over
tom ,   tel aviv   (06.05.13)
having made it, while so many others died. This is simply on a Mega-scale! We act like we've stolen something, but are not willing to give it back. If you are prepared to give up on Yehuda & Shomron you'll be negotiating Galil next. Churchill indeed :-)
4. Bibi Is A Comedian or Liar
World Citizen ,   the world   (06.05.13)
Bibi has never been about peace. His goal is to drag his peaceful rhetoric on as long as he can all the while stealing as much Palestinian land as he can. No one in his right mind believes anything this lying two-faced politician has to say.
5. #1: I know what you mean, Chaim
Israeli 2   (06.05.13)
However, I think that Bibi is only pretending it. He is bluffing, acting as if he so much wants peace, but he knows there is much to go in negotiations until that time comes if ever, and these Arabs cannot deny to wanting all of Israel. Their Peace is the whole Piece of Israel. Every politician does his act. Let him do his until Mashiach comes.
6. Abbas doesn't want to negotiate
Dan Calic   (06.05.13)
The very concept of negotiations is to discuss various ways of reaching an agreement. If anyone demands points which must be discussed DURING negotiations to be agreed upon BEFORE starting negotiations, said person really doesn't want to negotiate. Mahmoud Abbas is doing exactly this. He is the reason negotiations haven't resumed.
7. Abbass no offer of concessions play for time
Martin ,   SA   (06.05.13)
Abbass no offer of concessions play for time The let Un hand over the area to a democratic majority. QED arab majority. Then what is our response If we reject then what ? Unilateral partitioning is a solution including section Block E etc. Wait for the Arab armies to threaten and attack us. We would be out of line with International decree. I cant see security coucil agreeing. Then what??? No simple Do we have a plan that would work or we just waiting to be bashed. Abbas doesnt think he owes us anything. Kerry hasnt the guts to insist that Abass negotiate without conditions. He Kerry hasnt insisted that Abass show what he would offer. So whats the use of working with him? BB we need to take on the international community with a rubber stamp of Congress and US Senate These politicians are tuned in to all the nonsense around. including Boston and London experience should convince a few other major politicians to help protect our lines.
8. No worries, Chaim
Michael ,   Haifa   (06.05.13)
Netanyahu's words echo the sounds of his flatulence...totally insignificant, albeit noisy.
9. I wish Bibi
Sam ,   Kfar Saba   (06.05.13)
would not come out with these stupid sound bites. Not only does it degrade him but also they sound hollow. He is a PM of a country not a DJ on a radio station!
10. We need to hold Labor accountable for Oslo victims.
Chaim ,   Israel   (06.05.13)
ALmost 900 Israelis were murdered and more than 14,000 maimed as a direct result of Labor's lunatic Oslo Disaster. Clearly, Labor has no regrets and is following the same sick path. We need to hold Labor accountable for the Oslo victims. Oslo victims must be empowered to sue Labor for compensation. This would be a wonderful project for the patriotic lawyers of Israel.
11. Hell NO
swej-kcuf ,   Amman Jordan   (06.05.13)
"Netanyahu added: "The citizens of Israel want security. The citizens of Israel want peace, and I want peace and security. Anyone familiar with the details of the negotiations knows Israel is not the side evading talks and obstructing them. " peace built on stealing more land for your squatters and humanity rejects is unacceptable.. let it take another 100 years .. lets see who laugh last
12. Kerry has it right. An opportunity for both sides.
Michael ,   California, USA   (06.05.13)
It is high time to extend the hand in peace. Ignore the insane right wingers, Bibi, and compromise.
13. #12 Lalala in fairyland
Alex   (06.05.13)
Bibi's doing that already, I guess according to you "extending the hand in peace" is suicide of Israel. It's up to the palestinians, Israel is ready to negotioate, they're not.
14. Both Liars
Joe Mevorah ,   Lincoln, USA   (06.05.13)
Neither leader, and those they represent, are putting on a shell game for the world press. Neither side wants peace. They just don't want to be seen as the one who will walk away from Mr. Kerry's attempted illusion of peace negotiations between two entrenched enemies.
15. #13 Bibi can do more. Even you can figure this out.
Michael ,   California, USA   (06.05.13)
16. Michael # 12
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (06.05.13)
Yeah, and what has compromising with Muslims ever gotten anyone? They don't compromise. It's time they put up or shut up.
17. #5. Israel needs a Churchill as P.M. Not an actor.
Chaim ,   Israel   (06.06.13)
#5. You could well be correct. Maybe Bibi is only pretending its a good idea to talk to Holocaust Denying Munich Massacre Mastermind Abbas. However, it is still despicable. Israel needs a P.M. with guts. Israel needs a Churchill, who speaks the plain truth and treats genocidists as they deserve. Israel does not need an actor as P.M.
18. Sick of these attempts at collectivism
Devorah   (06.06.13)
Jews and "palestinians" cannot all be dumped into a blender, whipped around and expected to come out as a whole for any length of time. The ingredients will always separate in the end. And that is as it should be. They are not us, and we are not them. And that is not going to change. The "palestinians" are not partners much less friends. They are rabid enemies of Israel, and there can be no peace with them. They already made Oslo null and void. The PLO Charter has not changed. They need to be removed from Yehuda and Shomron.
19. I know Chaim @ #18
Israeli 2   (06.06.13)
I know. You are correct. I am often upset at his politics. He is giving the wrong message to everyone. He is a wishy washy PM. We do not need Churchill, Chaim. We need someone at LEAST like Rabbi Kahane Z'L. ....even tougher if can be.
20. Why buy the cow (peace) when the milk is free (land)
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (06.06.13)
21. Palestinian-Israel peace
henry ,   Manila   (06.06.13)
Any Arab, leader or not must die for pursuing peace with Israel. This is the fact on the ground. There is no way around it today or tomorrow. Anwar Sadat and many others have been assassinated for making peace with Israel. This evil will go on until the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob intervenes.
22. #11 "never miss a chance to miss a chance .."
Ed ,   Canada   (06.06.13)
Yes. Keep it up another 100 years. Israel is doing pretty well. How has it been working out for you so far? Go ahead, keep banging your head against a wall. No one can help people that don't want to be helped.
