A more likely target of the US administration is the public opinion & the leaders in Israel which it has repeatedly tried to discouraged from a strike at Iranian nuclear installations.

Iran has had nuclear power since the 1950s. The Ayatollahs have been in control since the 1979. Pakistan encouraged them in the 1990s to build weapons and gave them plans. Iran decided not to do so. If the US attacks Fordow, Israel will not go along. Israel has nothing that can keep up with or even track a B-2 and has no B-2s. Meanwhile two direct down wind countries have proven nukes and delivery systems. Both could ruin Israel's day and the US's day. Netanyahu seems willing to irradiate not only Iran, but the down winders - Chernobyl writ HUGE. Netanyahu and the Israeli right wing and you also seem inclined to give Iran every incentive to return the favor at the survivors earliest convenience, unless you are willing to occupy for a few generations as the US did in Japan. It is long past time for you get over your irrational paranoia. First of all, Iran is holding elections and Ahmadinejad will be GONE in a few weeks (so that boogie-man is gone). Second is the leadership of Iran is quite rational (not crazy) as many non-Israeli intelligence services have documented. Iran is NOT going to attack Israel UNLESS Israel or the US attacks FIRST. No one in the leadership of Iran wants to kill all the Jews. What they do want is for the government of Israel to be replaced by a secular or Muslim government. You need to differentiate between the Israeli government and the Jewish culture - they are two DIFFERENT things. Even if Iran gets nukes (and they do not even have a program to do that), they will NOT nuke Israel because of the MAD concept.
