1. Stop appeasing the terrorists.
Get Real ,   UK   (06.11.13)
Who is going to launch probes and undertake criminal investigations against the Hamas terrorists who indiscriminately fired missles into Israel ? Which humanatarian groups are supporting Israelis who have suffered from Gaza terror? Palestinians should be reminded why Israel defends itself against terror attack and of the consequences of response to such attacks.
2. Of course there is an increase in terror
A ,   Belgium   (06.11.13)
The IDF has its hands tied behind its back with vague orders, and the police prefer doing nothing. A Jewish girl was hit in the head with a rock in the Old City of Jerusalem recently. She reported it to the police who ignored her. There are incidents every day of violence against Israelis. The arabs are smart enough to know this and take advantage of it. Until the government gives clear orders to the IDF permitting the use of live ammunition, and the police take a more active role in stopping terrorist attacks, Judah and Samaria will have to depend on local militias for security. How do I know all this? I lived in Samaria for about 10 years.

It's a well known fact that palestinians tried under military rule face much, much heavier sentences than jews tried in Israeli courts for the same offenses....don't try to wish-wash it.
4. #3 it's also
Ilan ,   Ramat Gan   (06.11.13)
a well known fact that blue is the best color, and veggie burgers are better than real hamburgers! Just because you say something is a well known fact, doesn't actually mean it's a well known fact, or a fact at all! even if what you claim is true, how could you possibly know that? were you an ex IDF military judge? do you know any personally? or are you taking someones word that says he was unfairly judged by the IDF? because we all know how impartial that person would be!!!!!
5. This is because of our leniency.
Reuven   (06.11.13)
Bullets dipped in pig blood, or at least water cannons mixed with pig blood is the answer. And any terrorist we kill should be buried, wrapped in a pig skin.
6. the problem
(06.11.13)
General Nizan Alon is a good soldier but an extreme Leftist. Ehud Barak appointed Alon to head central command because he knew Alon would identify with the Arab stone throwers more than Jewish children. Be fair to Alon: reassign him to the Golan where he can use his talents without his Leftist ideology clouding his judgement.
7. keep lying

8. What the Arabs are doing reminds me of that joke about the
tom ,   tel aviv   (06.12.13)
doctor prescribing mud-baths to all of his elderly patients, regardless of the ailment. "Why is that"? "So they get used to Mother Earth slowly & gradually" We, the Israelis, will slowly accept the "cycle of violence" as a natural phenomena. We've done it in the past, we will do it again. That's a quote from "Armageddon"
9. Maybe we need a Referendum in the West Bank
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (06.12.13)
Lets consider the options 1. No Change 2. Independent Palestinian State in the West Bank 3. Devolved Palestinian State in Federation with Jordan. The State of Palestine in the West Bank within the Kingdom of Jordan..Similar in many ways to the UK model And you know what they say about the THIRD WAY The way that reconciles all our aspirations for Nationhood and Identity together with the practicalities of a viable territorial solution
10. #9 excellent summary
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (06.12.13)
idea 1: a good idea, but it does not exist. Israeli politicians since 1992 continuously develop the hostile Arab entity idea 2: both Hamas and Fatah, together representing at least 90% of the Arabs have stated that such a state will be a starting point for the next stage in destroying Israel idea 3: Jordan is incapable of ruling in Judea and Samaria, the opposite will happen. Such a "devolved state" will quickly evolve into a unified state hostile to Israel, Hamas or Fatah in power, Abdullah in London. Conclusion is only Step 1 can ensure Israeli survival, but Israeli leaders are too corrupt to let that happen.
11. About Referendum
Harri ,   EU   (06.12.13)
If options were 1. No Change 2. Independent Palestinians State in the West Bank 3. Devolved Palestinian Sate in Federation with Jordan. Palestinians would vote unanimously for option 2, so settlers opinion could not affect the result. I wonder if settlers would accept that solution.
12. #9,10,11:It is ISRAEL not "settlers" that has to accept what
