When I think of the poor of the world, the needy and the starving, I never think of Gaza. The poverty of Gaza would be riches to them. There are places where the poverty and pain would crush you. Not ever seen in Gaza. In my opinion Gaza gets far too much aid money per capita

The following paragraph from the article is priceless. "Shunar, the bakery owner, arrived 2 1/2 months ago with his Gaza-born wife. Shunar grew up in the Yarmouk refugee camp near Damascus and said he earned a good living with a home-decorating business."

Cut of their free fresh water, free humanitarian aid (tens of thousands of metric tons trucked in on a weekly basis) and free electricity. No more medical treatment in Israel. After all, doesn't Egypt have a border with Gaza, too? Why does everything always have to be Israel's responsibility to provide. If Egypt won't (they can't; they're dead broke), I'm sure Qatar will pick up the slack. Won't they? The emir of Qatar certainly pays enough lip service. Let him put his money where is mouth is. Islamic charities abroad have cut back their aid to Gaza. Not surprised, they realise the Syrian people are in much more need of real aid than that wasted by Hamas on its structure of terror with missles and luxury lifestyles for its leaders, instead of on economic development to benefit its people. If they cannot be trusted by going against the regime that supported their terror what guarantees that they will ever honour any peace agreement?
