1. Get this man out of here, this devil this beast Bashar Assad
Ricky ,   The Bronx   (06.17.13)
There is no embarrassment, shame nor remorse to be salvaged from this dog, Bashar Assad, this man and his people murdered Rafiq Harriri,,,, Saad should be praying night and day that the Angel of Death comes for this Saffak before we do. Just as Obama and America's Karma will not be a pretty sight/cite, Bashar Assad's internment as he lives to his fate won't be either.
2. The stage is being set for the final scene of the play
A ,   Belgium   (06.17.13)
America, Saudi Arabia, and who knows who else supplying the rebels: Russia, Iran, China (?) supplying Assad. Lebanon and Jordan feel threatened by Assad, Egypt cuts ties with a formal ally, and Israel sits in the middle of all this putrid Islamic vomit. The TENSION! And...oh right...them...the "palestinians"...well, we'll talk about them later.
3. i bet Israel is going apesht over this
nevermind   (06.18.13)
After all, Israel is supporter of assad and we have seen it repeatedly from comments of Jews on various Jew and American sites. Retribution is a b*tch, you try to prevent USA from helping rebels, now God will help rebels from their brothers and either way you will pa yfor crimes. You plot against God, God will destroy jews.
4. arab states that appose assad should bank role the no fly...
Brett L ,   JHB RSA   (06.18.13)
Zone. it about damn time they dont expect NATO to carry the can. with all the oil lying in the ground being snapped up by the west these greedy arabs can give something back to the world instead of just sticking up big buldings and living rediculously lavish lifestyles!!
5. #3 Israel just patiently watches as
Get Real ,   UK   (06.18.13)
the Arabs slaughter each other in Syria. As for supporting Assad some say Israel prefers not to have an Iranian,Syrian & Hezbollah trio of terror as its neighbour. Others accuse Israel of bombing Syrian regime assets and of giving medical aid to the rebels on the Golan and of wanting the West to supply weapons to the rebels in order to prolong the conflict . Either way neither side are great to have as neighbours.
6. From Gaza to Iraq
David V.   (06.18.13)
Assad intends not merely to drag foreign players in, but export the war everywhere from Gaza to Iraq so that there's a civil war in each of them. Already it is dragging Lebanon in, polarising the March 14 (Christian/Sunni) and March 8 (Hezbollah and allies) camps. It's already causing realignment in Iraq along similar lines to Lebanon. So where would dragging Palestinians and Israeli Arabs (if even possible) into the fighting fit into this scheme?
7. End-user certificates
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.19.13)
I don't suppose Saudi Arabia has issued any of those, have they?
8. #6 Assad's ploy?
Get Real ,   UK   (06.19.13)
Now that's what they usually accuse Israel of ! Civil war in Gaza, doubt if Hamas will allow that. As for Palestinian involvement, are not they already there on both sides in Syria?
9. #8 well they have...
David V.   (06.21.13)
...at least Ahmed Jibril's PFLP-GC which has been actively fighting for Assad, and mowing down Palestinians in the camps. The PLO has expelled them for this, even if their official line is one of dissociation from the conflict (not dissimilar to Israel). Wouldn't Hamas and others be seeking revenge on pro-Assad elements in their midst?
