take care of those anti Jewish bullies permanently leaving Cyprus with a diplomatic smile of course. The question is: Does the current Israeli leadership have the cojones?

Noted reference to Turkish friend, would be interesting to know if this was in 'Northern' or 'Southern' Nicosia. Perhaps choice of private school was not such a good move.
3. Cyprus
Ralph ,   Rishon   (06.19.13)
#2 - As Israel has not relations with Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, it is obvious that they are talking about the south side of Nicosia.

Netanyahu has apologized to the bullies and asked the Cyprus authorities to release them from jail. Negotiations are underway how much compensation Israel will pay the bullies for their inconvenience and lost shocker. One even cut his fist on the Jew's teeth.
10. Just Like Nofei Aviv
Common   (06.19.13)
Ostracized? Happens everywhere We live in Nofei Aviv (beit shemesh) its a 99% anglo "community" and since being here we have been ostracized. Our kids have no friends and they as well as we (the parents) are shunned. No invites over, very fe play dates and very very few friendships. Meanwhile every Shabbat and Chag everybody goes to someone else's house for lunch while we are by ourselves. We tried reaching out and invited 10 families over but none of them ever invited us back. Israel is great but never move to nofei aviv unless you have a friend here or some family member who can sponsor you into to this very cliquey and clannish anglo area.

13. Do you ever wonder why so many people behave this way ?
Jan ,   Brazil   (06.19.13)
Perhaps something to do with Netanyahu policies vis-a-vie Palestinians ?
14. check your information !
anonimus ,   nicosia cyprus   (06.19.13)
This story about the 15 year old son of a diplomat, that was beaten up by Palestinians, wasn't because he was israely, but because he was a trouble maker, he triggered it, provoked it. They had it at one point and gave him back what he deserved. I'm against violence of any kind, but as a mother at the school, a Jewish, Israeli mother, I ask the people of ynet, to check their info before they release their news !!! The beautiful thing about Nicosia and the American international school, is that the kids are growing up in a tolerant environment, that except everyone. And because of story like that, the kids start asking questions, and become judgmental, and intolerance. Shame on the diplomats that should set an example, and shame on the jurnalists that dont look for the truth!

Educating system to be blamed for this shocking event. was a victim when I was 18 years old in 1971 just because I am a Turkish speaking Cypriot

18. revenge ! Revenge ! Revenge !

19. The same happens in Canada
Tova ,   Canada   (06.19.13)
Hatred towards Israel continues to grow, even in Canada. Jews outside of Israe are no longer safe. It also happens in Canadian government offices. Muslins bully Jews in the workplace. And no one does nothing. they are afraid of the muslins. It is disgusting what has happened to in Greece. but in Canadian schools & university the same happens. Palenstians teenagers are always looking to start fighting Jews & Israeli where ever they go. No Jew or Israeli is safe.
20. Diplomats Boy and Bullying
Moshe ,   T/A Israel   (06.19.13)
I would have taught the lad to look after himself what is the lad going to do when his mummy and daddy are not there - stand and cry?
21. Pathetic
Gal ,   Tel Aviv   (06.19.13)
Where is the tough Sabra spirit? Sounds like a real spoilt little mummies boy. Where's the dad in all of this? I would've got the boy to join the local boxing club (+ Israeli security guy to help teach him Krav Maga).... and then go and smash the Pal & Co's faces in. They will respect him after that and become his sidekicks. "Fleeing" is downright shameful. Call these "representatives of Israel"? They should be sent back there. The Pal kid and his mates must be laughing their heads off.

coming from a continent famous for being the GRAVEYARD OF ALL JEWS, i am not surprised by your insensitive reaction. shame on you. if you are a parent and your hcild suffered electrocution and bullying, how would you react? but since this individual boy was jewish and israel, in your eyes, it is no big deal and it is ok because boys will be boys? what a shameful piece of nothing you are. ungodly excrement. hameed aboughaze, iranian

Birdi ,   Israel   (06.19.13)
You are wrong. The Israeli boy did not beat the Palestinian up, the Israeli boy did not ''shock him with an electric shocker on his back'' No matter if the Israeli boy provoked, beating up & giving him shocks on his back with an electrical device is the wrong kind of ''pay back'' no matter if the Israeli was a trouble maker or not. Because you say the Palestinian was right, means you are guiding the kids at this prestige school in the wrong direction. You know zero about tolerance madam. The Palestinians had no right to commit that act of violence against the Israeli boy. That is why the Palestinians are in jail now.

If you & your family are not happy in Nofei Aviv, can you not move to another area??

I wonder how you would feel if you got an electrical shock on your back? How would you feel to be beaten to pulp. Big words hey?

Education begins in the home! Education continues in school. The parents & the school are also to blame. Kids who are have no control, take it out on the streets & on others! Sorry to hear you were a victim.

28. My tough N London School Fights
Big Gal Boy ,   TLV was London   (06.19.13)
Back in the mid-80s I attended a rough North London state school which had a big mixture of kids from all backgrounds. However, I wasn't the typical nebishcher Jew. Tall and mean, if I heard so much as the slightest word against Jews, I'd smash the kid's face in directly. It became well known. Don't say nothing about Jews when big Gal boy is around and don't say nothing, PERIOD - it won't be nice if he finds out. That was one of the least anti-semitic schoold in N London whilst I was there.
29. No, this not "anti-Zionism", this is pure and simple racism,
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (06.19.13)
anti-Jewish racism at that. And, sadly, increasingly, more and more Jews, worldwide, but especially in Europe, face this reality. I invite these Jews: Come home to Israel. We look forward to your returning home, now.
30. #14, please supply references that contradict this article

Until then, I will treat your claims as bogus. No Israeli writes "Israely".
