1. A bit of advice on conflict resolution
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (06.26.13)
Trying to stoke up and whip up hot heads on either side is as much use as a Camel on the Streets of Amman If he had any skill he would be urging both parties to negotiation because its in their national interest and there has never been a more opportune moment
2. There will be peace in Eretz Yisroel when
Kerwood Derby ,   Frostbite Falls   (06.26.13)
the genocidal mass murdering extortionists have their right of return enforced back to the homicidal Hamite peninsular homeland of their own name. Instill their self identity with the land of their own name including the exiled Hashimites from the Hedjaz.
3. Use the Jordanian model of 1973 to deal with palestinians
Yoni ben Avraham ,   Dishon, Israel   (06.26.13)
In 1973 the King of Jordan used aircraft, tanks, heavy machine guns, and artillery to quell palestinian violence in his kingdom. He eliminated thousands of palestinians, sending them to their graves by the truck loads. We Jews have not forgotten the Jordanian Kings intolerance to uprisings. We can send the palestians to Jordan and let the King deal with them in his special violent ways.
4. Jordan has no say in Israel's affairs.
BUILD BABY BUILD!!!! ,   United States   (06.26.13)
Jordan's present role is to placate her sponsors as she has no wealth or power. The responsibility to rule Israel belongs to the people of Israel and their elected officials. In addition to welcoming the fleeing Syrian's Jordan should prepare for more palestinians coming back to their official home as well. They've become more than a problem for Israel, they must leave Israel. Meanwhile, KEEP BUILDING !!!
5. King Abdullah is panicking naturally
Tambour ,   Eilat   (06.26.13)
Sitting on a powder keg, losing support of his natural followers , he needs to remove himself and his rule as the cause So, who better to blame than Israelis, and the economic migrants who want to dispossess them? You are off the scent Abdulla
6. Another very good reason not to bend
(06.26.13)
king can go to his home in Arabia, and take with him all phylistines, as they called themselves in the seventies and eighties. Bibi has to tell that the Land is ours. Otherwise, the West think that Bibi and his wife want to leave Israel but do not know how to leave "honorably". That what the Left tells the West al the time. People in the West ask the Left "why the Jews don't leave if they want to leave?" The Left tells them that they are ready but Bibi, unfortunately, wants to leave "honorably".
7. They always talk of Explosions shmesplosions.
Dror ,   Haifa, Israel   (06.26.13)
"We must have peace o there will be an Explosion" sounds like a broken record. Why don't you preach to your Sunni and Shia bretheren on explosions.... Oh I forgot, that patronizing and condescending talk is reserved for the jews only.
8. KIng Abullah
AL QUDS AL YAHUDI ,   QUDS HAKA AL YAHUD   (06.26.13)
Israel should claim Jordan, as it was stolen by the British mandate and given to the Kingdom of Hejaz, Jordan is Israel and we Jews must claim the land.
9. just another excuse for rioting
frank ,   rehovot   (06.26.13)
these thugs are only looking for another excuse. But really they don't need one. Why bother, why wait. Bring it on. Start your riots, in fact, start them in my neighborhood but I can promise you I won't be as generous or political correct as the gov't or police.
10. The King is doing Israel's suicidal Lunatic Left's bidding?
tom ,   tel aviv   (06.26.13)
Nothing surprising here. The only problem with this "peace scenario" is that one side wishes for genuine peace, the other for the former's head on a platter. Otherwise he's of course entitled to his own fantasies...
11. Arab Incitement...
ACortez ,   Anaheim, CA, USA   (06.26.13)
Careful what you wish for. I guess the arabs losing all of those wars wasn't enough. This would be good for Israel because she could send the pals back to Jordan... their true homeland.
12.  JEWISH, ARAB AND OTHER PEOPLE IN ISRAEL
SJOERD VAN DER VELDE ,   IN OUR UNIVERSE   (06.26.13)
ALL THOSE PEOPLE CAN GET AND HAVE THE ISRAELI CITIZENSHIP/NATIONALITY, IF THEY ADAPT TO ISRAELI LIFE, LAW, LEGISLATION, JURISDICTION AND TO THE PEOPLE WHO ALREADY LIVE IN ISRAEL, SINCE 1948 AND EARLIER. THAT GOES THE SAME FOR ANY OTHER COUNTRY WITH A PEOPLE. HEALTH, SECURITY AND PEACE FOR EXAMPLE.
13. little man
aaron ,   toronto,canada   (06.26.13)
Hey little man we saw how your father DEALT with the Palestinians when they raised hell in your country.
14. Might be a Palestinian Arab spring?
Gimmie A break ,   Jerusalem   (06.26.13)
So what exactly would the good king call the first 2 intifadas? Peaceful grassroots civil disobedience? If anything all this "Arab Spring" business going on right now is probably borrowing a few tactics they picked up from previous Arab antics here
15. As God's prophetical Word predicts:
Jake Stone ,   USA   (06.26.13)
All-out war throughout the Middle East; and, to the Muslims' chagrin--Israel, once again, WINS! The stupid Muslims' just can't get over the fact that Israel is here to stay; they keep banging their heads' against the wall, crying because they or their false god can't do anything about it! It sucks being them!!!
16. Playing with fire
Ezer   (06.26.13)
Kerry reminds me of a kid playing with a match box. The middle east can easily light on fire if negotiations are unsuccessful and we know that the odds are 99.999999% of failure. So why play with fire and not accept that some conflicts will never be resolved? If Kerry wants to make himself useful, accept the status quo, improve people's lives economically, culturally etc. instead of stoking a fire. When it comes to the big issues like Jerusalem or refugees - there is NO solution no matter how many times you hit your head on a brick wall.
17. Abdullah, why don't you take your people home?
Kalman   (06.26.13)
Kerry, you know quite well that there's no such people as 'Palestinians'. They're Jordanians and Abdullah should take them home.
18. The Kings fear
Boaz ,   Big Lake, MN>   (06.26.13)
The only thing that is bothering the king is his fear in knowing that his hold onto the throne is very shaky... He has no rights to anything that is even remotely connected to Jerusalem the Eternal Capital of the State of Israel not even one speck of dust belongs to him nor to the so called Palestinians no matter how much the Arab world tries to change history... Us Jewish folks have been in this city thousands of years longer then their faith has even been around...
19. Jordan=Pallistan, YOUR MAJESTY.
Beer ,   Germany   (06.26.13)
Dear Bedouin King. Go back to the sands of Saudia. Lawrence Arabian and British Empire is not around anymore. Pallies can create a state on place of Jordan. Will be not a cheaper solution for donor countries and Israel, but at least will finish territorial conflict. For few days.
20. Abdullah fails to understand
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.26.13)
Israel WILL annex Judea and Samaria, and we will repatriate all those Jordanian citizens -- who will instantly become undesirable aliens, subject to deportation -- to the country of their citizenship. Abdullah "rules" the phoniest country in the world. All the Arab "spring" protests which he direly forecasts will accrue directly to him. Good luck, tiny half-British, half-Iraqi monarch, with your Kuwaiti bride. What right have you to rule over an ersatz "Palestinian" population, numbering well over seventy percent of your population? I guess we will find out, tiny king. I guess we will find out. You may not appreciate the outcome, but that would be YOUR problem. Wouldn't it?
21. Pals even reject Arab Initiative. So,what is peace to Pals?
Sam ,   Canada   (06.26.13)
The Arab Initiative calls for a refugee solution acceptable to Israel. Israel rejects a Palestinian right of return, Palestinians demand it. So, Palestinians and Arabs can't even tell us what peace is but they demand it.
22. king hussein, king abdullah both illegitamite
marcel   (06.26.13)
hussein and his son abdullah were and are both crybabies hwo sit on land that does not really belong tothem but in fact to israel. when feiglin takes the reins of israel, non loyal arabs will be extradited out of thestate, and reuben's land will be retaken.
23. And it is clear
Mira ,   Vienna   (06.26.13)
why he is so eager to point that out: He would be the first to be removed and that would not be the first time in Jordan Pals would try to get the upper hand.
24. Peace will come with exodus of "Palestinian" poseurs.
Chaim ,   Israel   (06.26.13)
Fictional Palestine was concocted, after Israel's victory in the Six Days War, with one motive in mind. The destruction of Israel. Nobody ever talked about creating such a state while Jordan ruled Judea and Samaria. Peace will come only with the mass exodus of "Palestinian" poseurs from Israel to Jordan and/or elsewhere.
26. Chuzpah! He should abdicate!
nadav ,   tlv   (06.26.13)
He is an authoritarian ruler of a monarchy illegally installed by British imperialists in 1922 to rule over an artifically created colonialist state. He currently rules over the majority of the so called Palestinians, who make up 80% of "his country's" population. He should abdicate or create a democratic constitutional monarchy called "Palestine." which could then proceed to negotiate a true peace with Israel and the divide of the populated areas of the West Bank. Without Jordan being part of the solution to the conflict, there will NEVER be a just, lasting, and peaceful solution to the Arab-Israeli dispute! Jordan=Palestine!
27. King, you mightjust be getting what you wished for!!
Avouskila ,   South America   (06.26.13)
but not according to your own script. In first place, Israel is not an Arab majority country, so the prospect of an internal israeli Arab Spring is off. An external uprising in the territories or inside Jourdan is real, and most likely to happen within lifetime of Abdullah. Talking about Hashemite custodian of Islamic and Christian holy sites in East Jerusalem, is an abheration. When Israel is talking about the rightful legacy that the Jewish People have on the Jewish Religious Sites, it is not accepted while at the same tim a secular leader of another arab country reciting the International (sic) rights to interferring in the legitimate running of religious sites and institutions of an independant country , that is a Hutzpah. The king is running scared as he feels his political survival is on line and he hopes that the Syrian Army won't arm the Palistinians, in majority of the Jordanian population, and rise up (Arab Spring, really) against hid Hashemite familly, whose right to rule Jordan is really comparable to Assad (minority) who rule Syria. Go figure...
28. Abdullah - King of the Palestinians
Bikerwolf ,   London U.K.   (06.26.13)
Absolutely correct Kalman# 17very Arab I have ever spoken to understands this once the historical facts concerning Jordan/Palestine become known. My mates from Lebanon hated the PLO and always called the 'Palestinians' terrorists who destroyed the peace of Lebanon. They were expellled eventually from every Arab country and finally plonked themselves down in the middle of daft Sweden. I once confronted a 'Palestinian ' and asked him what he called himself before Israel was created. 'An Arab' was his reply. But of course he blamed the British for setting up Jordan and declared it 'had nothing to do with us' John Kerry should do us all a favour and demand that Abdullah change the name of his 'Kingdom' back to its original title and rename all his citizens too. Problem solved.
29. What if there is war and Israel loses?
spyguy ,   Seattle   (06.26.13)
Israelis think they can win any war, but there is the very real possibility that the Israel will lose the next war. Then what? Israelis should NOT assume they will win next time because ... (1) the world is awash in weapons equal to any that Israel has, (2) Israel has no "magic" weapons, (3) the US is getting weaker by the day (No, not because of Obama, but because of stupid mistakes over the last 50+ years - all empires end), (4) the Arabs have learned how to defeat the US, (5) wars requires lots of cannon fodder and Israel has, at best, 4 million cannon fodder and hte Arabs have many times that - the first side to run out of cannon fodder loses, (6) wars require lots of war toys and Israel actually has a small number, (7) wars require large wealth and Israel has none, (8) and the list goes on ... It is NOT 1967 any more and Israel could easily lose everything. King Abdullah is correct, but Israelis are too delusional to listen.
30. 1st they'll spring on you, kink abdullah & they beat you
Moshe ,   Usa   (06.26.13)
