1. Yes to Ynet?
Cynthia ,   USA   (07.03.13)
I'd love to communicate directly with Iranians. And in the spirit of freedom of expression, will Rohani free all the artists, writers, filmmakers imprisoned or exhiled by the regime because they expressed their views?
2. WHO CARES!
Iranian Jew ,   LA   (07.03.13)
Facebook is not going to feed the hungry masses. These are all stupid promises to keep people from paying attention to the real problems. The military is controlled by the mullahs and that is what matters the most. Look at Egypt. The military is with people not the crazy mullahs. That is why they protest. In Iran you will be shot dead the minute you open your mouth.
3. Rouhani
frank solan ,   san dego   (07.03.13)
I just wonder how the Salafis and Wahabis express themselves by their super extremist views, even decapitating their adversaries and still backed by so many western states, in comparison to the Shiite scholars as Mr Rohan, Mr Rafsanjani, the late Ayatollah Mohamed Fadlallah, who so clearly express their so liberal and open minded believes, and still so refused to be accepted by the west, I think the difference is that the salafis and wahabis are willing to follow the west advices of throwing away their moneys in gambling, prostitution, unnecessary weapons and so on and on, and the Shiite scholars are not.
4. Iran is rebranding Facebook
Avi Yisraeli ,   Tel Aviv   (07.03.13)
The Iranian version will be called 'Faceless Book'. The best part is that all your female friends can now share the same photo. Look it up on Google, it's called the Niqab and it makes the Hajib look provocative in comparison.
5. Rohani MUST be progressive&permissive: he's FOR electricity!
tom ,   tel aviv   (07.03.13)
I've heard that he also is willing to acknowledge Earth's gravitational field as fait accompli.... A true scholar, worth West's envy!
6. Rohani was architect of 1994 AMIA* terror attack ....
Sarita Montiel ,   Israel   (07.03.13)
so the rest of this is just window dressing. He's a terrorist MONSTER and I for one will NOT "Face-friend" him. *The AMIA (Associacion Mutua Israel-Argentina) building was destroyed by this man and his cohorts. 85 human beings were killed and over 300 human beings were injured in that terrorist attack. On 18 July 2013 we will commemorate 19 years of impunity and remember that 19 years later the families of the dead and injured STILL have not received answers or compensation.

Get Real ,   UK   (07.03.13)
Always words of democracy released to the western media; but they impose harsh realities in their own countries. Let them prove their enlightened approach by their actions.
