It’s not about you so don’t start yourself pity drama. But really we will not sit and see a terrorist taking over Sinai If Israel doesn’t show consideration, and the Israeli government shows consideration for the situation. For number 1 comment it’s our land since 5000 years and we will not allow anybody to steal it.

The Aborigines have been in Australia for much more than 5,000 years. And the chances of them getting it back are what we would term "Buckleys and none". So, go for it, give Israel a reason to retake Sinai. You will cry for your 5,000 while Israel turns the Sinai into a tourist haven.

Today's "Egyptians" have nothing to do with ancient Egypt. Today's "Egyptians" are Arabs, Africans, Kurds, Turks, Iranians, Greeks, Albanians and Bosnians speaking Arabic and praciting Islam. Ancient Egyptians were no Arabs, spoke no Arabic and didn't practice Islam. So much for the claim that "it's our land since 5000 years". The Peace treaty beween Israel and Egypt was built on the premise that Israel gives Egypt Sinai in Exchange for Peace and recognition. Since Egypt doesn't give us Peace and recognition, you have violated the Peace treaty, therefore you don't deserve Sinai. The Egyptians of ancient times that you refer to were NOT the owners of Sinai. Egypt was built around the Nile. Sinai switched hands my times in history. You started several wars against Israel and you need to pay the price for starting wars. A part of loosing wars is to loose land. Sinai should never have been returned to Egypt and Israel should never have signed a "Peace treaty" with Egypt. Either it's Peace for Peace - or no Peace at all. Forget "land for Peace" - we won't accept it in the future. Attack us again and we will keep Sinai FOREVER.

With ancient Hebrew? Are you sure you're 100% from a pure 5000 years Jewish lineage? If only the real Hebrew descendants were to be the owners of the land of Israel, then it's the shomronim who are land lords here...

While the Jews/Israelis of today are largely the same people as we were thousands of years ago the Egyptians of today are not. Our history, customs, alphabet and language match up to our forefathers - the Hebrews/Israelites, and genetics reveal we are a very homogenous group of people and that we are very closely related to the Mid Eastern populations of today. Both Ashkenazim and Sephardim are very closely related to each other - in fact almost identitical genetically speaking, and both groups are closely related to the modern Mid Eastern populations. We are not 100% pure - no ethnic group is, but we are very homogenous ethnically speaking with a few mixtures here and there. Today's Egyptians have practically nothing to do with the ancient Egyptians. It is one thing to say that the Jews are homogenous ethnically speaking but may have been slightly mixed over the years (the intermarriage percentage among Jews has always been very low for the past 2000 years in Jewish exile) on one hand, and on the other hand speaking of the "Egyptian" people who is not a homogenous people and have practically nothing in common with the ancient Egyptians - neither ethnically nor culturally nor linguistically. Jews of today are descendants of the ancient Hebrews, speak Hebrew and practice Judaism. Do Egyptians still speak Egyptian and use Egyptian hieroglyphs? How many nations in Africa, the Arab world, Asia and Europe are 100% "racially pure"? I'll tell you: almost none. In fact most of them are LESS homogenous than modern Israelis/modern Jews. Most of these ethnic nations across Africa, Asia, Middle East and Europe are not only racially mixed - they no longer speak the tongues of their forefathers and do no practice the same religion. Do Greeks practice their pagan Greek religion today? Are Greeks racially pure? And yet you do not question their right to claim Greece? Do you apply the rules of racial purity to claim lordship over a land for all ethnic groups or do you single out only the Jews?

Not because it's been spoken for 2000 years. Hebrew was a dead language and has been revived. If tomorrow I revive Latin, will I revive the Romans? NO No connections! I speak Hebrew, celebrate more or less jewish holidays because I live in Israel... and I am not jewish! So.... And because you can't prove you're from a 100% jewish lineage, you benifit my doubt....

As I said Before: no ethnic Group in Europe, Russia, Middle East, North Africa, Africa and Asia is 100% pure - and YET neither they nor you have ANY problem of DEFINING and CALLING them Chinese, Mongolian, Japanese, Turkish, Russian, Arab, Persian, Kurdish, French, Swedish, English, German or Italian etc. Can you prove that THEY are 100% "pure"? I don't Think that modern day Israelis/Jews have anything to do with the ancient Hebrews - I KNOW that modern day Israelis are the descendants of ancient Hebrews. They are not 100% pure - neither is your ethnic Group whoever you are. But the bulk of the genetics of the vast majority of Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jews is 1) VERY HOMOGENOUS 2) is ALMOST identitical between the two Groups and 3) both Jewish Groups are VERY closely related to modern day Mid Eastern Groups. So..? What are we debating?
