Being a burger free zone is a very attractive option for any country or city. Why on earth would one want investment from such shite businesses?
2. More junk food for the masses..yes sirreee

3. Can't Compete

Israel is a country that has a plethora of burger bars, some of them very cheap and reasonably good (best value in King George, but BBB and Burges are pretty good too). Burger King will try to offer the same prices only much worse burgers and worse food in general. It will be very hard for them to compete. The only reason McDonald's is still successful in Israel is because it has branches in all the malls and cinema complexes, and good burger chains usually consider it beneath themselves to be present there.

Foodie ,   TLV   (07.18.13)
None of the food chains taste the same anyway so there is no point calling it Burger King. McDonalds, Subway, Cinnabon- all crap in Israel!
7. Oh yum

"Based on their analysis, Laurel School researchers found that the water content of fast food hamburgers typically ranges between 37.7 and 62.4 percent, with an average of about 49 percent. Electron microscopy revealed preserved skeletal muscle, which is good, as well as a variety of tissue types including blood vessels, peripheral nerves, adipose tissue (body fat), cartilage, and bone. But the kicker was the actual meat content. "According to the data, amongst the eight fast food hamburger patties tested, meat content ranged between 2.1 and 14.8 percent, with an average of about 12.1 percent. This means that for a half-pound burger, less than one ounce of it is composed of actual meat, on average. And for those burgers on the lowest end of the meat spectrum, a half-pound patty contains less than five grams of actual meat." (Annals of Diagnostic Pathology)

To #1. As long as no one is force-feeding you burgers, why not just quit your beefing and let us skinny-minis (not all fast food lovers are fat) enjoy the odd burger and fries. Does anyone question the content of Burger Ranch's menu? And what about all the grease in schwarma? I can play the Yuck game too!
9. Ugh! let them stay gone. its better that way. ;-)

12. Great! Competition for McDonalds owned by Peace Now founder
Scott ,   Ramat Gan, Israel   (07.20.13)
McDonalds is overpriced here & they boycott settlements, so any competition that will hurt their bottom line is great.
13. burger king = non kosher crap food
Ezra ,   San Diego   (07.21.13)
Eat it and it goes right to your waist and butt. Go ahead, eat the fat-food and watch your blood pressure go up, your cardio vascular system clog...etc. There litter nutrient value is any of it. Some animal protein, processed sugar and saturated fats. Just the stuff to feed your dog if you want to kill it.
