1. In other words
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (07.18.13)
The Arabs have added a whole new bunch of preconditions to talk to us. Time to start deporting the terrorists
2. Obama
Abraham Nachmias ,   Petach Tikva IL   (07.18.13)
Every plan that his Foreign Office prepares fails for lack of reality! Kerry should go home and stay home, at least that way he won't be the laugh of all the Middle East!
3. "No plans no plans to announce a resumption of talks."
Harry Wright ,   UK   (07.18.13)
So why is Kerry like a permanent fixture in the region, prodding and browbeating the parties? Why, if not so he can announce resumption of talks? That's his plan, isn't it? He is back and forth between Israel and his yacht like if he has nothing better to do. He is not interested in Syria, nor Egypt, nor Lebanon, nor Libya, nor Iraq. Those are right where he and Hussain Obama wants them - in chaos. So now, he wants to add Israel to the list. He is not even interested in Iran's rapid progress with the N-bomb. ALL he is interested in is "resumption of talks" and Israel making all kinds of dangerous concessions to Abbas. Well, he does have the EU backing him with the boycotts, courtesy his muslim boss.
4. End dangerous B.S. talks with terrorist P.A. forever!
Chaim ,   Israel   (07.18.13)
Thousands of Israelis have already been maimed and murdered due to "peace talks" with the genocidal terrorist P.A. End the dangerous B.S. talks forever. The purpose of these talks is to turn Israel into a 9 mile wide concentration camp. "Palestinians" don't even try to hide their genocidal intent. In fact, they proudly shout it out all the time on P.A. TV, in the school texts and everywhere, Let every sane Israeli and friend of Israel DEMAND an immediate permanent end to these talks. Israel must deal with the P.A. as Churchill dealt with the Nazis.
5. John Kerry's sixth failed visit
Harold ,   USA   (07.18.13)
John Kerry should go home and stop wasting him time and spending US taxpayers money on these two stubborn creatures. Refer this problem to the United Nations and them issue the final decision.
6. Latest transcript
Avi Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (07.18.13)
BO:"How are things going there?" Kerry: "Not too good, sir. We put out that false story about how Power would defend Israel at the UN if she got the position. Unfortunately, yNet published it together with that nasty video from 2002 of Power making snide remarks regarding American Jews and threatening to invade Israel militarily. I'm sorry to say, the whole thing blew up in our faces." BO:"Uh, what else do you have?" Kerry:"We used that "according to unnamed Israeli officials" BS in trying to get the word out that Israel fully accepted what our friends in Jordan laid out. But Bibi himself flatly denied everything." BO:"Look, I want you to make it absolutely clear to those Israelis. If they don't play ball with us and do exactly what we say, I'll sic the Europeans on them - they'll threaten them with a boycott". Kerry:"Sir, we've already did that. Sodastream now says they will have to lay off 600 Palestinian workers as a result of that decision. In the end, thousands of Palestinians will be out of work. Israel is also threatening to pull out of the 'European Union's Horizons 2020 program' - something that will cost the Europeans 785 million dollars." BO:"OK, I'll talk to our boys over at Fort Meade - I'll have them sift through a bunch of Facebook. Twitter and Gmail accounts to see what dirt we can come up with and I'll get back to you later today. If you wrap this up by Thursday night, you can be back in Cape Cod on your boat by the weekend. Don't screw up." Kerry:"This is my sixth trip here...frankly this is making me look bad. I didn't sign up for this." BO:"You looked bad every since you lost against George W. - Now get back to work and enjoy the Hummus."
7. #5. The U.N. is irrelevant.
Chaim ,   Israel   (07.18.13)
It's already passed hundreds of resolutions condemning Israel but Israel grows richer, stronger and more wonderful every year.
8. US intervention
Dror ,   Haifa, Israel   (07.18.13)
There was a time when middle of the road Israelis were asking the Americans to intervene on behalf of the peace process. I am certain they can see past the attempts of Kerry and his boss at this point. This is not about the peace process, this is about politics and leverage. Who is leveraging Obama? He is the most compromised puppet president that has ever served at post. Obama - Nasi Gog.
9. UN Security Council Resolution, 242, 1967, doesn't call for
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (07.18.13)
any particular boundaries, only for the parties to arrive to "secure and recognized boundaries". The PLO accepted 242 to be the basis for peace talks, as early as 1991. It is only proper that the PLO maintains its position and the rule of the game, rather than changing them in its middle. In fact, one wonders, do they actually ever want to come to terms and live peacefully alongside the sovereign nation-state of the Jewish people, regardless of the boundaries...??!!

Harold ,   USA   (07.18.13)
We know very well Israel did no honor hundreds of UN Resolutions but you never know what happens next. The Middle East problem is like a ripe boil and soon it's going the blow-up
11. Stop them, they are too ridiculous...
Yossef   (07.18.13)
12. I agree with you Chaim @ # 4
Israeli 2   (07.18.13)
It makes no difference how much we shout, it all hinges upon whether PM BIBI is strong or not. We already know he is not. If those things that are very important to you and I is negotiable to BIBI, he will just toss it....because in their mindset, something MUST be given up if we are to "negotiate." and the beat goes on.

Jorge ,   Israel/USA/Argentina   (07.18.13)
We know that UN has a hobby ignoring the rest of the countries y focusing full time on Israel. Some resolutions are similar to Nuremberg Law: 3379 - 1975 example to all racist formulas that they find in hand. Most of the people of that infamous corus (UN) are islamic that vote anything against Israel. Another example of UN racism was Durban, UNHRC (Syria and Iran applying as members) So UN (United Nobody) is not a good point to curb the Jewish people. All Anti Semitic people love to talk about it: UN
14. Jordan Valley Security Essential
Zechariah   (07.18.13)

16. Talks, it was agreed, would be direct, without preconditions
Deb J. Goldfarb ,   Washington, DC USA   (07.18.13)
and based on U.N. Security Council resolution 242. Israel must not agree to ANY change from this formula. Any demand to bring into the letter of invitation to the talks any preconditions, e.g. 1967 borders, ought to be rejected by both the U.S. and Israel.
17. For Pals it's a matter of how much they get from Kerry
Sam ,   Canada   (07.18.13)
For Palestinians the question is how much they can get from Kerry for doing nothing. If Kerry gives them enough then they agree to talk and do nothing in return. That's how it has always been.
18. Bernanke to quit Fed post in January
Dror ,   Haifa, Israel   (07.18.13)
Bernanke is juicing the American economy. The only thing keeping everything from falling apart is the monthly stimulus money printing loans to the banks. Once Bernanke leaves the new fed chair will have to "taper" or stop the money printing. The markets will crash when that happens. The bond markets and the dollar value will crash if money printing continues. We should not be suckers. Wait and see what happens after Bernanke leaves the Fed, he does not want the blood on his hands. The next Fed chair will end up with the disaster. Bernanke will just keep on printing.... No negotiations necessary.
19. For a change...
Michael ,   Haifa   (07.18.13)
...i am beginning to enjoy the talkbacks here...they become more and more amusing as reality takes over
20. Prisoner terrorist release.!. Sure.Only to Kerry's home town
Adi ,   Zurich   (07.18.13)
Prisoner terrorist release.!. Sure. Only to Kerry's home town
21. Decision Time
joel ,   ossining, ny   (07.18.13)
Abbas will finally have to decide if he wants a Palestinian state or a cause and Bibi will have to decide if he wants a 2 state solution or one state in which the Palestinians will eventually form a majority. History suggests that both are incapable of making any decision except not to make a decision! Don't blame Kerry who is doing all he can to save both sides from themselves.
22. What is wrong with YNET lately
Arnold- Canada ,   Montreal   (07.18.13)
No other news has the Pals thinking favourably to negotiating.
23. Peace Agreement
Ken Evans ,   New York   (07.18.13)
It will never happen. Why would Israel talk to Mr. Black September Abbas ?
24. What bag of goodies is Kerry offering the Pals?
Harry Wright ,   UK   (07.18.13)
And who is paying for those goodies, the US or Israel????
25. the plo has rejected peace negotiations
CJK   (07.18.13)
26. Palis think they have it made in the shade
Dror ,   Haifa, Israel   (07.18.13)
They got another thing coming....
27. Liberals On Drugs...
musicwriter4life ,   USA   (07.18.13)
Palestinians don't want peace. They don't want a Jewish Israel to even exist. All this talk about "agreeable to peace plans" is to find an excuse to kill Jews when they don't get what they want... No Jews in the Middle East... Kerry is smoking happy weed, if he thinks otherwise...
28. Peace
Stuart ,   South Africa   (07.20.13)
There will never be peace. Fact. It is not meant to be. Fact. I stand with Israel who historically has a right to the land. Arabia has never understood the true meaning of peace. Just look around and see for yourself.
