The joke is really on all the people who voted for Lapid and thought that he would dedicate himself to resolve the lack of affordable housing in the center of the country. The government, which Lapid joined, never had any intention to subsidize housing where the majority of the citizens want to live. Your view is unfortunately naïve. Jews have been thrown out of Arab and Islamic Countries. Must build as many housing units as possible to allow Jewish People in Europe and other countries to immigrate.

The current housing crisis started when Netanyahu imposed the building freeze on Judea and Samaria, increasing demand for houses in the center. If people voted Lapid to bring affordable housing in the center then he should be building much more in Judea and Samaria. Lapid never spoke about "subsidizing" housing, that was Yehimovitch.
