I take your point about '67 but, tempting though it is to draw comparisons, the two situations are not comparable. In '67 Israel was threatened with imminent invasion from its immediate neighbours. Not the same with Iran in 2013. This is a regional, if not a global, issue where international diplomacy and sophisticated intelligence processes will be far more significant. The Iranians may well operate with different values but they are not stupid. Do not underestimate them.

Once again; the situations are not comparable. Modern weaponry makes distance much less relevant. Yes there is a difference if there is an invasion with boots on the ground or not. But the difference is very little and semantic only. We disagree. Peace.

I agree with you about Jews' history with Iran. But you are speaking to the wrong party; speak to your own government. They are the ones who threatened the destruction of Israel, and still do. They are the ones who support Hezbollah and Hamas. Read about the real world, then post.
64. I was wondering...

how an article criticizing Israeli policy ended up on ynet... and was actually impressed for about 30 seconds... until I read the comments and realized that nothing has changed (at least as to its readership). Don't get me wrong... I disagree with the analysis too, but there's no question ynet is a cheaper version of what we here in the U.S. call "Fair and Balanced News" a.k.a. "Fox News"... which isn't at all news, but just a bunch of ignorant commentary, based on half-truths and personal agenda of a (small) segment of our society.
