31. Well, ARE there graves there?
Neal ,   Minneapolis USA   (08.14.13)
Neither the Ynet report nor any of the people posting seems to have addressed the one question that (maybe) could end this conflict: Are graves at the precise location of the work? If so, are they Jewish graves? (Is it even possible to be certain that any remains are of Jews)? And if the graves are not those of ancient Jews, is it then OK to dig them up or pave them over? The basic, first question is whether or not the site contains graves (which, as at least one post says, is pretty likely after thousands of years of habitation). These haredi protests are a real nuisance, but it seems that proper authorities should at least end any argument over the presence of graves.

have been removed is not impossible either. 1) The contractor can dig till the bedrock 2) There is always the possibility to put a warning in front of the new building saying that Cohanim should not enter the premises because bodies may be buried under the building
33. Who said that there are Jewish graves there ?
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (08.14.13)
