as an israeli, i can honestly tell you that yes, we support all egyptian people to get their democracy and away from the muslim brotherhood. israel supports a democratic, not an islamic egypt but we can't intervene because we will be blamed at the end. so we sit quietly and watch horrified at the death and violence, but we still support a moderate and democratic no islamic egypt. we all wish you success and peace at the end. israeli
33. go ahead make egypts day
zionist forever   (08.17.13)
Great solution The country has serious economic problems and want american money to bail them out but no American aid money means no jumpstarting the economy. Of course on the good side it will mean the army don't get anymore american weapons to use against the Morsi lot.

CJK   (08.17.13)
and it is an awful mistake to rely exclusively on the us. obama is showing us that one president and his caprices can endanger israel more than the entire egyptian army.
35. Western nations support National reconciliation
Zechariah   (08.18.13)
The USa and West ought aid a reconciliation government of national unity to last ten years and better Economic Conditions and Provide Jobs .Traditional Islam can stay but in moderate far more tolerant and humanistic forms .Only a Humanistic form of Religion can be Progressive anti war and for peace.Obama and Co have miscalculated the Balance of Forces Catasrophically.

that you as an Egyptian, an arab, a moslem, sees the truth as it should be seen. And that truth is, hating Israel leaves you with nothing but your own hatred , accepting Israel opens up the world. Why not share it?
40. #23 Oh yes you do!
A ,   Belgium   (08.18.13)
Here's two reasons: oil and tourism. Pretty good fishing, too (before the Egyptians destroyed THAT industry)

Hi there, this is a voice of the true right wing in Israel. We're hoping you good guys will win! I think you were dumped by Obama, but what else is new?
42. for now egypt needs coalition government
zionist forever   (08.18.13)
Cancel the peace deal and not only does the army stop getting new toys but the economic aid which the country desperately needs right now because the economy is in such bad shape will also dry up. They get that money only as long as there is a peace treaty. They have already cost themselves both Israeli and Jordanian gas contracts worth billions as a result of the constant blowing up of the gas pipeline that supplies Israel and Jordan. Israel decided it could no longer rely on Egypt so plans were made to bring its own gas fields online ASAP. Not only is Israel no longer buying Egyptian gas but Jordan has also started to buy from Israel rather than Egypt. What the Egyptians need short term is a coalition government that will include the interim government and the MB and plans made to hold an election within about a year and possibly adopting a coalition system for long term. Coalition government is a bad system and Israel is mature enough to ditch the system if it wasn't for the fat that the majority of MKs come from little parties who would no longer exist if coalition government was ditched. In the case of an emerging democracy its a good thing because it ensures that the different parties work together for the good of the country and right now Egypt is in trouble. Let the MB stay but as as part of a power sharing agreement stops either side getting to much power.
43. Aren't you glad Israel ceded the Sinai? NOT!
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.18.13)
Yet another lunatic Israeli concessions and retreat is blowing sky high. Along with every other Israeli concession and retreat. Israel need merely permanently end ALL concessions and retake our abandoned lands. That will end virtually all of Israel's most serious problems.
44. Democratic Brotherhood Exposed for what it really is.
BUTSeriously ,   Sydney   (08.18.13)
Everyone is shouting how a democratically elected party was swept aside. No one is saying that Morsi's Brotherhood soon exposed the antithesis of democracy. Hitler & Hamas were also democratically elected!
45. They are still very few
K.I.Haaland ,   Norway   (08.18.13)
I hope the people of Egypt don.t listen to the intolerant destructive Tamarod movement that will destroy the future of Egypt with their hatred. The Tamarod movement haven't jet got many supporters among the 30 million rallying against Morsi .God bless Israel! God bless Egypt that once saved Jacob and his 12 sons from hunger, and that once saved Jesus when he was a little baby boy.
46. the only reliable ally is Israel
Matt   (08.18.13)
