Oh yes they do, those stores are located in public places like streets, use public utilities like sewage system, electricity, law enforcement, etc. founded by taxes. They force this crap not only in their stores but in the neighborhood. Just the other day I read that the owners of a winery venue that had a problem to book and serve a homo wedding due to their religious believes, were ordered by court to serve them or have their business licence revoked ,... "Once this group gets special allowances" - This group is getting a special treatment for decades they're a schnorring con-artists ripping you off left and right where ever they managed to settle and getting away with it - Google 'failed messiah' and read a daily update on their scams and mooching business ,...

They will take over in Israel, be the majority voters in the next decade. They will be the majority Jews in NY, in time, not a long time. NY can frustrate them somewhat, but numbers matter and they can hire their own female lifeguard, a cost they would bear, not extravagant and save NY money but did they offer this?

It's irrelevant whether Haredim are the majority of Jews in New York. Being Jewish or Christian or Buddhist makes no difference in the USA. The law is the law. They can build their own private pool and hire whom they wish as lifeguards but they have no right based on their religious strictures to attempt to insist that male lifeguards not be used when their women are present. Eventually too the stink of scandal from their welfare fraud and other less savory activity will reach Washington DC which has the ability not only to investigate individuals but to investigate the corrupt NY pols who kowtow to these people's illegal demands and who cover up their pedophilia and similar crimes. As I said earlier, The US isn't Israel. All the Jews in the US taken as a group are sill only a very small minority and the Haredim only a minority of that total. The nonsense they pull and get away with in Israel won't fly here.
