1. deception
john ,   toronto   (08.27.13)
To live a life of deception there is nothing worse. Mossad should have independent watchdog from intellectuals and scholars specially those who are able to speak the truth.
2. And this is why Mizrahim
David ,   On this planet   (08.27.13)

4. #2 - what a stupid thing to say
Chaya ,   Bat Yam   (08.27.13)
These people are heroes - they left their families in order to protect Israel! How dare you denigrate them like that!
5. I can only imagine
benjy   (08.27.13)
nothing can be worse than to live and be afraid of a slip up that could end in torture and death, and no grave for their family to go and grieve. These men and women that serve Israel and are never recognised are the bravest of all...Our silent heroes.
6. Sounds Like Hatufim in real life!!
Badbob ,   Judah Israel   (08.27.13)

8. #4 You are the one
David ,   On this planet   (08.27.13)
You think they are heroes, how come they can't get a real job and feed their families like your ilk. thinking they are heroes and treating them like garbage is your answer, check with some of your neighbors to check if they got the same break you got
9. How can you marry a Palestinian in the 50's?
Jake ,   USA   (08.27.13)
There were only Egyptians, Israelis, and Jordanians in the 50's. They didn't magically transform into Palestinians until 1967.
10. David #2 what planet are you living on?
R ,   Israel   (08.28.13)
The members of my family has kept the mizrahi name and achieved degrees and good jobs. Half of the managers in my department are mizrahi. While discrimination may still exist, those who believe in themselves and don't let others put them down are successful.
11. IMAGINE HOW MANY DEATHS COULD'VE BEEN AVOIDED-IF ONLY...
Alberto   (08.28.13)
Yassir Arab-fart and co. had been deleted from Earth by the Mossad in 1964... It would be a world in which 10's of thousands of innocent Israeli & Lebanese Christian lives would have been saved. if only.... Why, if they had the opportunity to do so, did they not do so? it would've been like offing adolph hitler jr. Perhaps airline highjackings wouldn't have taken place... if only.
12. long term koolaid
Tim ,   USA   (08.28.13)
Hey Jake, you swallowed whole the story that there were no Palestinians until 1967 and thought your comment was a smart one. NOT! not only that there are millions of them now to your chagrin and everlasting anxiety. LOl!
13. #9- Incorrect
Dave ,   San Diego   (08.28.13)
Palestinians have been referring to themselves as such for well over 100 years now. Long before European Jews started calling themselves "Israeli's." Whoever told you that Palestinians just started calling themselves such in 1967 lied to you. Educate yourself buddy! Palestinian nationalism predates Jordanian nationalism.
14. 1950s Mossad agents in other Countries
דונא ,   Boise, Idaho   (09.01.13)
It cheats the child not to be able to know their Father's name. A name is everything. You have no idea how it feels!
15. he's talking about those Mizrachim
Ra'anan ,   Jerusalem   (09.14.13)
who were coerced into serving the state at personal risk to their lives like Eli Cohen & such.
16. Eli Cohen
Ra'anan ,   Jerusalem   (09.14.13)
I remember reading that Eli Cohen was coerced into his position & then entrapped by ISRAEL sending morse code messages at an unscheduled time & for too long a duration which allowed Syrians to track him down. It sounds like that guy in Lebanon had the same experience. The powers that be did this because they didn't want a living Mizrachi hero like Eli Cohen who could lead voters to the "wrong party." The same is said for the murder of Yoni Nethanyahu during the Entebbe Raid where he was killed by ISRAELI FIRE.
17. it's not just the Mizrachim...
Ra'anan ,   Jerusalem   (09.14.13)
They did something similar to Bibi Nethanyahu's father which is why he went abroad to become a world-class professor. These blacklisting techniques were popular in the Soviet Union & ironically during the extreme anti-communist McCarthy Period.
18. #13 pre-1948 "Palestinians..."
Ra'anan ,   Jerusalem   (09.14.13)
JEWS living in Eretz Ysrael before 1948 were also called "Palestinians" & YES they were nationalists & their nationalism is called "ZIONISM!" Dave, EDUCATE YOURSELF!
