If Syria is attacked then Assad will almost certainly attack Israel in the hope that to avoid setting the region alight as he says they will push for a full scale ceasefire. Its also true that terrorists will take advantage of the situation and we will see the emergence of new terror groups in the north other than Hezbollah so we should not take these threats lightly. What we should not do is start walking around everywhere carrying gas masks do that and Assad has won because he has got everybody on edge.
