The ones I was eating in 1975 at Sanor may have been left over from the Six Day War. I wonder if these hot dogs were also from 1967? The absolute worst hot dog I ever tasted. But yes I did eat them. No choice! There was also the boiled chicken....

Basically all I ate during my service was tuna, olives and white bread. The hotdogs were always inedible.... :-D
4. Hotdogs? Are we talking about " luf" ?
Ilan ,   Toronto, Canada   (08.31.13)
Luncheon meat would have been a better translation. I loved luf! Lol, I mean it hated tuna more. Ohhh the memories!
5. Preservatives are not all bad and can be a protection.

Vitamin C or ascorbic acid is a healthy preservative, for example, as is nano-particlized silver solution.
