1. Pro Israel !
David ,   Montreal Canada   (09.01.13)
Mr. Kerry its not JUST for Israel ! Its matter of human life values ! Lets face it, Obama can not take decisions when comes to international matters.
2. SYRIA'S DEPUTY FOREIGN MINISTER
Robert ,   Israel   (09.01.13)
He blames that the next attack to Syria by American forces is because of America's friendship with Israel. And Israel has nothing to do with the Syrian internal problem. The problem with this man is that he was breast fed with sulfuric acid instead of mother's milk, and he is now distilling all that poison, does not matter if it is against his own people or against Israel, or against the full moon. He can not realize that he and his gang are all assassins with no soul. Israel is not the problem. THEY ARE THE PROBLEM that needs to be solved.
3. Fight to win
John Prophet   (09.01.13)
How then do "civilized" countries fight a civilized war and win? They answer is they can't. In the 21st century those countries who care less about genocide and who's population have no say in the matter have a free hand at shocking the world into submission. Wars then should be fought to win and not be fought not to lose.
4. 100 x their strength
gandian   (09.01.13)
aabs do not understand 2 imperatives- ancient israel attachement which some arabs know of, and second the holocaust, which makes israel pull 100 X. If the opportunity comes that iran and syria throw chemicals at israel, she will utterly destroy syrian and iran, utterly, especially the rotten filthy ayatollahs, killers of nada. I call on persian patriots torise up and rip the ayatollah regime
5. Israel has nothing to do with it
Genesis ,   JHB RSA   (09.01.13)
Israels enemies always find a way of blaming it for everything. This was a crime against humanity. this was the killing of ones own people. No normal person can condone this and let it continue. The USA congress, if it decided to attack will do so for the above reasons and not beacause of Israel. Bashar should just give up now and leave and many more lives will be saved in the end. His fate is sealed one way or another.
6. Fighting a war in the 21st century
John Prophet   (09.01.13)
Fighting not to lose. When wars are fought by half measure they never end but are prolong indefinitely. In order to win the US Civil War Lincoln came to the agonizing realization that he has to raze the South to the ground. Only then was victory possible. The same for WWII. The US nuked 100,000's of thousands civilians in Japan and firebomb 100,000's more in Germany to bring that war to an end. Those wars were not fought with 21st century instant 24/7 media broadcasting every dying civilian into each and every home. If they were, the US might be now two separate countries and we could all be goose stepping today. How then do "civilized" countries fight a civilized war and win? They answer is they can't. In the 21st century those countries who care less about genocide and who's population have no say in the matter have a free hand at shocking the world into submission. Wars then should be fought to win and not be fought not to lose!
7. David from Montreal
Ehud   (09.01.13)
The Syrian deputy Foreign Minister claimed it is for the sake of Israel, not Kerry!

First of all American president should care about American interest and soldiers who may die in this mess. Time for EU to send their soldiers and spend money to help Syrian people.
12. Now Syria Can Move assets Underground
Noah Lev ,   Los AngelesUSA   (09.01.13)
Its obvious that Iran has told the M.E. countires to utilize the US friendshp with Israel a a bulwark against a US intevention. On a level it works..Israeli PR is so bad, that some Cngressmen even speak befoe antgi-Semtiic crowds here ( iinking Israel with US Jews). But, the vast majorityh have a basic understanding of US credebility and of courfse strength. A US forme general says our army has been degraded thanks to Obama. Yet, the Chief Joint has said repeatedly that we can fight two major wars at one time easily. We have 33 carriers, thousandes of planes, tanks, 2m men and women under the command, 20m former soldiers living here, and 2,000 nukes. We dont have the power to defeat Syria, come on.!! If so, we should all cave in to no. Korea, far stronger than Syria with nukes. and not fighting a civil war. However, I would ask the Arab League to send troops if needed, help fund it, use some of their weapons, sold en masse over the years. Syria is not just an internal struggel, its a power play between Iran, Russia, China, Turkey, Hez, Hamas, the US and Israel. To blame Israel for everything is their way of dueckng responsibiity and gaining support among Israel's US enemies. Obama erred however, like our no red lines approach towards Iran, he should have kept quiet, but used our big stick wheh appro9priate. Now, Assad will move his assets deep undergound, where Tomahawks cannot penetrate.
13. Putin has had a victory
CJK   (09.01.13)
people do not realize that all over the internet, there are agents of putin writing posts, praising putin and denigrating obama. there are also agents of iran doing the same and claiming that the assad chemical attacks were a false flag and that all the syrian rebels are members of al qaeda. these agents provocateurs all pretend and some are anglos or americans. some go so far as to say that they would prefer putin to be their leader.
14. 11.
Birdi ,   Israel   (09.01.13)
No ground forces will enter Syria. If anything Syria will be bombed from the sea by missiles.
15. puffed up kerry kennedy
alexi   (09.02.13)
kerry shot his mouth off ahead of obama and pushed him to take action when america has so interest in any such action even though chemical weapons were used. Not only that, obama has signalled that israel is on its own vis a vis iran, and the middle east. Israel can only rely on itself and at most arms resupply by the US. Europe is non existent as a garantor. I trold bibi this before hand but he is so inscure along with the israeli left and barak, that they attach themselves pathetically to obama. USA is not to be relied upon and european threats agains twest bank are worthless. Israel should pull out of abas talks and not release any more prisoners. kerry is full of crap along with obama. Bibi has been dead wrong and likud should unseat him and fast..
16. Mr. Kerry, what was the right thing to do in Sigon, and why.
Miron ,   USA   (09.02.13)
17. #9, #13
(09.02.13)
At least half the Syrians support Assad. The casualty count published by the rebels show an even match with almost equal death count. In keeping with Arab warfare doctrine, both sides have done unspeakable atrocities for tactical and strategic reasons. Most of the "rebel" forces are foreigners funded and armed by Obama, Erdogan and the Saudis with declared purpose to ethnically cleanse Syria of its native populations. Obama refuses to work together with Putin to solve this problem, and has torpedoed any chance of peaceful resolution. In any case, Obama used up all the trust people had in the US when he lied to the world and Putin so he could give Jihad control of Libya. #13: tell me one fact listed above that is wrong or innaccurate. Putin is the responsible adult, Obama is holding a hand grenade.
