Especially since 9/11, it's been clear the US intelligence agencies lacked analysts and translators sufficient to deal with the troubles centered in the Islamic world. So they've been recruiting. But rather than turn to communities whose values and loyalties better reflect those of the US - Sephardi Jews, Arab Christians, Iranian Baha'is, etc. - they've turned to the Arab and Muslim communities. But if they're recruiting in Dearborn, for example, where many support Hamas and Hezbullah, it shouldn't surprise if many take the opportunity to try to infiltrate these agencies. After all, they were "invited".
