1. There were no Palestinian lines in '67
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & NY   (09.02.13)
Abbas keeps referring to the 1948 armistice lines as if they had some real or legal meaning. According to all laws and agreements this line has no meaning, and at no point was it related to a Palestinian state.
2. Did Netanyahu expect to sign peace agreement?
Sam ,   Canada   (09.02.13)
Why else would Netanyahu release a bunch of murderers for a few months of Palestinians not lobbying?
3. 1967 borders?
Hunt S Cross ,   England   (09.02.13)
"...in accordance with 1967 borders?" Abbas attempts to paint Israeli negotiators into a corner and, again, circumvent negotiations. He believes that he is highly valued as the only one who is prepared to "negotiate" on the Palestinian side and that no Israeli will dare say "no" to him. Call his bluff.
4. "Palestinian Authority"
Peter ,   Toronto   (09.02.13)
Israel, stop international funding & support for the so called "palestinian authority" & let this enemy collapse.
5. Abbas is a worm, nothing more.
David ,   Hartford USA   (09.02.13)
What kind of person would celebrate at the release of child murderers? Of killers of old men and mothers with their children? Only Muslim terrorists. Abbas is an uneducated jihadist- and his viewpoint on Israel has never changed. The question is why does Bibi/Livni go along with the charade? What is his real plan?
6. Good Choice Abbas
Harvey ,   London   (09.02.13)
No surprises here . Abbas opts for the release of 104 prisoners , mostly mass murderers , rather than lobby UN as any mature politician would do anxious to secure the future of his proposed state . Mind you he can always go back to the UN at a later stage , so maybe not so dumb after all .
7. Abbas, a word of advise, before
17   (09.02.13)
negotiating with Israel read the kol nidre.
8. press avoidance
Ellen ,   Israel/NYC   (09.02.13)
Wasn't there an agreement about not negotiating in the press. Israel has been quiet and Abbas has been running his mouth non-stop like a leaking faucet. He hasn't shut up since day 1. If the man can't hold by something as minor as no leaks--what does this bode for the future. ( rhetorical question, I know the answer)
9. And after the release of all the prisoners...?
J'm Jew ,   Jerusalem   (09.02.13)
... the PA will anyway go to the UN.
