The same gas spews from the Palestinians day after day. If I was in charge, these negotiations would have already concluded. I would already have shown the Palestinians a map of their state, and it would be a map of Jordan. As for Jerusalem, the closest thing they would get to that is the Abu Dis garbage dump.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.04.13)
The ersatz "Palestinians" are not in the least bit interested in good faith negotiations. They want to have their cake, and eat it, too -- clearly not understanding that they have ended up on the losing side of six wars in which Arabs were the protagonist and over seven decades of terror, in which they were the protagonists. There are consequences. And all the bleating and pleading and whining about somebody (i.e., the United States) needing to apply pressure to the Israelis is not going to work. Israel has bent over backwards to accommodate the ersatz "Palestinians." Which largesse they have repaid by terror, more terror and still more terror. They are NOT going to get the entirety of Judea and Samaria. Israel will NOT tolerate foreign troops -- which can be withdrawn at a moment's notice -- on Israeli soil. We do not trust the ersatz "Palestinians." Why is it so hard for them to recognize that they are a vanquished people and are not in a position to set terms and conditions, or make demands? They have believed the lies the lies they have propagated for so long, it has become their truth. Too bad. Their version of events is not backed up historically, and Israel has every right to demand the spoils of war. It wasn't Israel who rejected partition. It wasn't Israel who started -- and lost -- six wars. It isn't Israel who has engaged in over seven decades of unremitting terror visited against Jews both in the State of Israel and in the Diaspora. We're not ceding a single inch of Jewish soil. We call the shots. If the ersatz "Palestinians" don't like it, they are free to leave at any time. Once Israel annexes Judea and Samaria, they are going to have to leave. May as well make the best of it now, before all the best slums in Amman and Gaza City no longer have places to rent. The European Union cannot help the ersatz "Palestinians" now. Strange as it sounds, the world has moved on to far more important things than cosseting a bunch of whiny ersatz "Palestinian" terrorists. It is time for them to make their way somewhere else. The sovereign State of Israel -- and Judea and Samaria -- are beyond their reach. That's what happens when you wage wars and don't win. Too bad. Suck it up and move on.

contrary to some reports Kerry does not walk on water! a win/win is impossible as it's terms will be unacceptable to both. Obama should concentrate on fixing USA to lessen a lousy legacy. also, set free murderers of Americans as he urged Israel to do to show USA is honest broker. its always easier to fix another's problems!

NATO Guarentees? With the USA at the lead? And Turkey as a member? For that matter - England and France? Don't think so, Abbas. If the Syrian conflict taught the Israelis anything, it is that the world would prefer to sit idily by and watch the Jews get slaughtered like in Syria.

From your lips to G-ds ears, especially the part of annexation and the removal of all pals from all of Israel. Bless you dear Lady. You make every Jew proud. BUILD FASTER!!!

the Arabs to state, in public and in Arabic, their acceptance of Israel's RIGHT to be, to exist as the sovereign nation-state of the Jewish people, rather than adhering to the PLO's Charter that calls, to this day, for Israel's demise and the "cleansing" of the Jewish people's ancestral homeland of its Jews, through whatever means possible. One only wonders, why doesn't the US place pressure upon the Arabs to do so, but does, instead, continue to finance the PLO's Palestinian Authority that grants funds to convicted mass murderers of Jewish civilians?

is not an Olympic sport! With Syria, and Syrians are Arabs, killing, maiming, gassing and doing what Arabs do best which is proving every day that they are just a bunch of murdering thugs, does Yasser Abed Rabbo really think the World is interested in the Palestinians? Any one with a two cell brain, like Peace Now!, B'Tzelem, BDS and those that use the Palestinian Cause ti further their own Antisemitism like Roger Waters, Elvis Csotello and the other has-beens, know very well that under the "Occupation" the Palestinians are living very well thanks to stupid Israel which allows them to be employed in Israel even though they are trying to destroy the country that feeds them! Palestine is like a Five Star Hotel compared with our neighbors and even those further afield.
14. Abed Rabbo, "palestinian" Minister of Funny Talks:
A ,   Belgium   (09.04.13)
"I don't expect any progress at all unless there is huge and powerful American pressure, such as the one we are seeing from America to deal with the Syrian issue". The only huge pressure is the gas rumbling in your intestines, perhaps. What huge pressure have you seen from America regarding Syria? Uh...er...red lines...green line...uh...dump it on Congress.. oh, another Russian ship coming...uh...er anyone seen my 9 iron? You got one thing right, though, the "peace talks" were a farce from the beginning, too bad the only pressure shown by Oblabla was for Israel to release "palestinian" murderers. At least you got something out of it, Israel got nothing.
15. Pals demand US pressure for more free concessions
Sam ,   Canada   (09.04.13)
Palestinians come to peace talks to get free concessions from Israel. The US already pressured Israel to release murderers and the Palestinians wan the US to pressure Israel for a freeze, free territory and to hand over the country to the Palestinians. That's what "peace talks" is all about to them. Obama, Kerry and the West still can't figure that out.
16. If you love Israel; DEMAND end to these evil talks.
Chaim ,   Israel   (09.04.13)
Oslo "peace talks" cost Israel more than 1,500 murdered and more than 14,000 maimed civilians. "Peace talks with Palestinians" always cost countless Israelis their lives and well being. Even worse than the immediate cost of the evil talks is their goal. Which is to steal Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria from Israel and turn Israel into a 9 mile wide concentration camp. If you love Israel; raise your voice loud and clear. DEMAND the immediate permanent end to these monstrously evil talks.
17. P.S. to # 11
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (09.04.13)
And, while you are at it, please accept a peace treaty as the end of the conflict and the end of all future demands. Your refusal to do so only tells us, Jews, that you have never been serious about peace, that the only thing about which your are interested is to make gains without ever making any concessions or even giving up on the idea of attempting again to bring about Israel's demise and the "cleansing" of the Jewish homeland of its Jews.
18. rabbo and erekat-wait till feiglin or bennettt take over
marcel   (09.04.13)
bibi's days are numbered. bennett or feiglin will take over. Forget about nato or gutless cameron and the EU. idf controls all security points-dead stop. israel will be recogized as the jewish state and end of claims, no right of return, not one person or no deal. San remo willbe revisited and all arabs will be going to jordan east and isreal will take over judea and samaria totally and claims reuben's land on east bank. In return israel will not make war. No gas masks will be h anded out to palestinians as it is not israel's responsibililty. As for ashton, she should keep her obnoxious and odious persona out of israel as she is gutless to the core-deadwood.

20. Peace talks with Israel going nowhere, says Abbas' top aide
George Weiss ,   Teaneck, USa   (09.04.13)
Of course the Arabs want the UN or NATO on the borders because bothof these are anti-israel and will disappear at teh request of the Arabs. It has happened so many times before that it's mere suggestion is ludicrous. By the way, we now know that even the US can not be trusted.
21. "Peace talks" are secret because they are so evil.
Chaim ,   Israel   (09.04.13)
Why are the "peace talks" with the P.A. being kept secret from Israel? There is only one reason. The talks are so incredibly destructive and evil that Israelis would massively reject them. There is no way such despicable secrecy, or politicians who insist on it, should be tolerated.
