Maybe we can get a map of Israeli WMD

syria's huge stockpile of chemical weapons must be destroyed one way or another. these chemical weapons pose a direct and imminent threat to world peace. assad has used these chemical weapons on his own people. such a blatant violation of international law points to a regime and its ruler that is capable of any and all violations of international law. there is no doubt that assad would hand over chemical weapons to terror groups he is associated with, such as hezbollah and Palestinian terror groups. there is also the threat that hezbollah or al qaeda might capture some of these chemical weapons. such an eventuality must not be allowed to happen.

If you fear Israel more than your Arab neighbors, you are truly a fool. As you fail to see that you Arabs do way more harm to yourselves than we ever did to you, don't you think it's purely racism that makes you not see the truth? It's always easier to blame those who don't belong to your kind. Your leaders want you to look away from what they're doing to you and blame it on the Jew. And you do exactly what they say. So how are you not a puppet?

The whole region needs to sign international convention on chemical and nuclear weapons. And to get the stockpiles out of their states. I do not blame any religion but the region cannot be trusted.

Israel is surrounded by 22 whacked out Arab nations and 1 Iranian one all hell bent on killing if not themselves, the only non-Islamic nation in their midst. Guess why Israel has WMDs... and why Syria has them also. Hint: different purposes!!!

Sadam sends them to Assad and Assad sends them back. opps, must erase the "made in Iraq" or president Bush may be found to have been right about the wmd, smile and breath deep, it only hurts for a while, and oh yes, Iran is going to surrender its weapons also, who is smoking that strange stuff?

Sadly Syria has not broken actual laws by using gas, as it never signed the Chemical Weapons Ban. The only thing the Syrian regime has done that is illegal is attacking civilians, which it has been doing prior to deploying chemical weapons. From the standpoint of international law it might be a hard legal battle. This is not to say that Syria should not be stopped from use of WMD just a point in the law.

the use of weapons of mass destruction, in this case, chemical weapons, is a crime against humanity under customary international law and various treaty laws prohibiting genocide. it makes no difference that syria is not a signatory to the treaty since the treaty simply codifies customary international law. assad, if ever captured, would be charged with war crimes and crimes against humanity, including the use of chemical weapons. there is absolutely no doubt about that.

...back when the USA was ready to invade. Syria offered to hide them temporarily for Saddam. He never asked for them back after being the guest of honor at a little necktie party. But the US and Europe supplied Saddam with the raw materials for those weapons years before that, when Iraq and Iran were at war. That's why the USA wants so badly to go in and bomb the chemical weapons storage sites in Syria.
