1. Whats this obsession about Nuclear?
Tim ,   Brighton   (09.10.13)
Is it going to add to Iranian Prosperity ONE IOTA? Is it going to add to Irans Security or Military Strength ONE IOTA? Is it going to even make any difference to Irans Energy demands ONE IOTA? And the crunch question? Does Rohani REALLY BELIEVE that Ahmadinejads NUCLEAR HOLY QUEST is worth ALL OF $250 BILLION (that's 1/4 TRILLION DOLLARS) when you take into account the cost of sanctions, cost of protection.....the damage to the economy etc? But you know its the old adage....If you've made such a confounding and disastrous decision as Ahmadinejad made in the wholesale pursuit of Nuclear whatever the cost..what do you do..face the TRUTH or perpetuate the LIE? Rohani..its over to you
2. The world waits for "proof " in Syria
DT ,   TA Israel   (09.10.13)
of chemical weopans use then does nothing. So the world will do same for Iran to drop it's nukes - and then will do nothing. Time Israel acted against Iran
3. Leave it to the graduate of the Rev. J. Wright University in
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (09.10.13)
Chicago to ensure that appeasement will be implemented, contrary to all commitments made by him to both the American public and the international community. After all, the opponent is part of Islam, and we ought to bow down and kiss the ground on which its leaders stand, goes the logic of that graduate - or, rather, a recipient of a Ph.D. from that infamous institution....??!!
4. Maybe Obama should draw an new Red Line?
Dee Bee ,   The Galilee, Israel   (09.10.13)
This time not with vanishing ink! Of course well all know that if the Iranians nuke Israel they will kill more Muslims than Jews and Iran will suffer the most from the retaliation by Israel! Netanyahu's Red Line is still there, President Loony Tunes Rohani! Vengeance is mine sayeth the IDF!
5. Rouhani is just a puppet of Arch Mullah Khamanei!!!
Son of Cyrus ,   UK   (09.10.13)
Arch Mullah Khamanei is An anti-Semite. The root of all Syria's problems and Lebanon's problems are the Islamic Regime of Mullah's in Iran. Unless these people are brought to account the problems not only will persist but will escalate.
6. Call transcript
Avi Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (09.10.13)
"Yo, it's the President here. What's up Mohammad?" "Bismila Alracham Alracim, can't complain." "Now, I understand you had a nice long chat with Catherine. You must have impressed her - she said I should cut you some slack". "Well, based on the way you handled Assad we thought we could get a similar deal. You know, save face, wink wink, go on doing what you were doing, just don't brag about it!" "Alright, you don't have to make fun of me too. I have enough of that going on here at home. 'Tell ya what... I'll send the 5+1 group over next week to work things out. Just don't go be making me or Hillary look bad. You know we have an election coming up in 2016 and we're still trying to bury our old scandals. No surprises, Mohammad." "OK, OK. One more thing..." "Yes, Mohammad." "Please call Bibi and tell him we just passed his 90% enrichment red line - I would love to see the look on his face." "Me too! Goodbye my friend."
7. What does Russia stand to gain?
John Prophet   (09.10.13)
What advantage does Russia get from a Nuclear Iran? Once Iran goes atomic it’s probable other Muslim countries will eventually get the bomb and increasingly possible terrorist will get their hands on these weapons. Russia has its own problems with Muslim terrorists and could more easly be penetrated with a suite case devise due to geographic proximity and less sophisticated detection capabilities. It makes more sense for them to cooperate with the US to keep a lid on things. Perhaps Obama made Putin an offer he couldn’t refuse with respect to oil for example.
8. Obama just let Assad off the hook...NOW
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (09.10.13)
it is time, to act QUICK and DECISIVE against Irans nuclear Holocaust program ! BOMB...BOMB...BOMB Iran NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Barb ,   Formerly of Chicago   (09.10.13)
Wow. You are making fun of the best university in Chicago, my home town. Please, have some respect to the university's founder, the Rev. Dr. Wright. Our President, after all, set under him for some 20 years.
10. "rights" or wrongs?
tom ,   toronto, canada   (09.10.13)
1) iran has no "right" to nuclear proliferation. the equipment which it has purchased from russia came with international treaty guarantees to prevent its use to produce weapons. iran has failed to comply with those conditions, in terms of notifying the iaea and allowing inspections. 2) rohani is perfectly right - iran will not back down in the face of threats. so now it's time for actions, to take away his dangerous toys before he hurts himself or anyone else. it's too bad the dhimmi-in-chief hasn't realized this yet. 3) only the afp could describe a high-level official in charge of nuclear negotiations for the iranian mullahcracy as a "moderate"! what have they been smoking? the next popular phrase will be to describe him as a "snappy dresser".
11. Only one thing left to do ...
Urman ,   Israel   (09.10.13)
All we can do is pray for a human error or a technology malfunction so that the entire plant blows up. I do not wish 'Chernobyl' fiasco on anyone, especially being from that part of the world, but this is the only way to prevent Iran from having nuclear weapons and using them against Western civilians.
12. #1
(09.10.13)
Saddam and Assad lost their nukes, and then their rule. Gadaffi voluntarily surrendered his nukes, ended up raped and murdered. Kim smokes, drinks, eats, makes fun of Obama and smiles all the time. Iran would be stupid to surrender nukes.
13. this is the man that sent israel Rosh Hashana greetings
zionist forever   (09.10.13)
When Rohani became president the west was talking about this guy being MODERATE and new hopes on the Iranian nuclear weapons issue. Push comes to shove this moderate is exactly the same as Ahmadinejad except for the fact Ahmadinjad was a firebrand and he likes to be seen that way whilst Rohani is a smooth talker who doesn't want to be seen as the rebel the way Ahmadinejad did. Until ayatollah rule ends all the presidents will be the same.
14. Obama easing sanctions on Iran
CJK   (09.10.13)
obama is a slithering snake in the ground. now you see him, no you don't. he will let iran go nuclear while the storm rages over syria.
15. Fanatical Ayatollahist Nukes
Brod ,   USA   (09.11.13)
The fanatical Islamist-Jihadist-Ayatollahists are hell bent on their nukes. Hitlerites do not seem to care a hoot. This is a threat to Israel, America and the Free World.
