You are so out of touch with reality. War is actually hurting the US economy. We don't have $100.00 a month (soldiers) canon fodder or billion dollar military grants coming from all directions. The US military spends more money than the rest of the world combined, and you say that helps. The US economy still amounts to 25 percent or more of the global economy and that's NOT bad considering our economy is on the ropes. Our economy will re-bound if we can stop outsourcing and focus within and stop being the worlds policeman. It is time for other countries to step up and do there share and stop giving lame excuses on why they can't intervene when civilians are massacred in the tens of thousands. Give the US credit it was the only country that could ever put enough pressure or threat of action that would make Syria even consider surrendering it's chemical weapons. You are right it might not work, however just the thought of the solution that is on the table speaks volumes.

What you say makes sense, but Obama's actions mean he does not agree with you. Why did Obama attack Libya, wasting American treasure to release endless weapons to Jihadis? Why is Obama so fanatical about replacing Assad with Jihadis that he is willing to go to war and sacrifice American lives? No one asked Obama to be the world policeman or step up. The UN is solidly against Obama's intervention in favor of the Jihadis. The only ones supporting Obama are the Saudis, the Turks and Cameron who was slapped down by the parliament. Our money is backed by nothing and our government spends more than it makes. That can't go on forever. When we collapse and become a has been nation a lot of people living on our handouts will suffer but Israel Is going to get along better than most.
