JewBacca ,   AMERICA THE BEAUTIUL   (09.13.13)
There's more than enough money, if only the politicos would stop skimming off the top and lining their own pocketbooks...It's no secret that the "unelected officials" are robbing the place blind. Everybody knows this but no one would dare step up and admit it...if they do, they'll take a flight off of a 6 story building...and that will never fly with the Abass's $10,000 suits and $4000. shoes, the limos, the Paris apts., the "investments in Egyptian resorts, the hundreds of first class airfares, the "police/body guards" and their maintenance, the $45,000+ quicktrips with the the hotel/meals bills, and all the rest of the ultra high living in the fast lane by these non elected "leaders". What did you expect? Mahatma Ghandi? or Mother Teresa? No, just Slaab Erekat and recent millionaire Abbass! Tough luck Pals, you got the leadership you have earned.
2. 'rooted in the political conflict with Israel'
M. Davison ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (09.14.13)
IMF stupidity. The whole problem is rooted in the sticky fingers of the Palestinian politicians who skim money off every amount entering their territory. The entire bunch of them head the "New Millionaires List".
3. Political. Lie. Show me just one non islamic suicide bomber

4. solution is to stop paying pensions
zionist forever   (09.15.13)
Abbas is constantly out with his begging bowl saying he cannot afford to pay employees of the PA and he doesn't pay them so the world rushes to give him more money so he can pay his people. Whilst the employees are not getting paid because there is no money the PA pays a pension to the families of suicide bombers. They also pay a salary to every single terrorist in Israeli jails, compensation for the fact they are in jail. If they stopped paying pensions to the families of murderers and people in jail for terrorist offences then they would save millions every year and they would be able to pay all their employees and their bills.
5. Of course PA corruption has NO EFFECT. No roads or hospitals
BS ,   Tel Aviv   (09.15.13)
But every PA politician has millions or more in their personal Swiss bank accounts... Give me a break.
6. Precarious, hmm...
frauss ,   Jerusalem   (09.16.13)
The Palestinians are professional victims. They do not develop infrastructure or industry to support themselves. They have developed a society of guilt-inducing beggars who blame everyone else for their ills and look to the UN and other freier countries for handouts to maintain them. It sort of works since no one holds them accountable for what they do. As handouts drop, precariousness rises. The more they cry and whine, the more they get. Why work when you can blame Israel and get paid for it?
7. Israel Ruined Palestinian Economy
mr ,   nj, usa   (09.17.13)
All of the Arab economies are in a shambles, not just the Palestinian. Perhaps that is also Israel's fault. Europe's economies don't look so great either....
