It was very nice of them to run off at the last minute and leave the locals in a bind. Without the Israeli writers and producers of the original series, the massively popular American version would never have been created.

Traditionally, Morocco has been known as one one the more moderate & stable Arab states. However, as a result of the Arab Spring (which has now become the Islamic Winter), there have been many protests in Morocco against the king in recent months. War or no war in Syria, Israel is the only safe place in the Mideast.
