1. WELCOME TO ISRAEL
zionist forever   (09.16.13)
Thats pretty much what the court has now said to infiltrators. We are not going to make it so hard for government that they will be unable to deport you and so make yourselves new lives in Israel. There are already about 60,000 here and thousands more come every month some are refugees others are economic migrants. They want to stay, start families maybe eventually get citizenship once they been here long enough and had a couple of kids they do not want to be locked up for up to 3 years risk being sent home. If we cannot lock them up then how do we study their cases see who can stay and who has to go? Unless they can be detained in a single place for a long period of time we cannot investigate cases, they will go underground and never be heard of again unless the commit crimes. The more people who come the harder it will be to ever redevelop South Tel Aviv and make it a more desirable place. At the same time if we are making it near impossible to deport these people because we cannot detain and investigate these people if they leave South Tel Aviv they will only create slums out of nice areas in other cities. By supporting this court decision Shelly has proven once again she is not fit to be ever be PM. The government must find some sort of compromise because right now the flood gates have been opened and the courts are not allowing government to make legislation that will close them.
2. Jewish Israel is Finished
Ron ,   oc us   (09.16.13)
Either The Jewish state deports the African/Moslems or Jewish Israel is finished. The liberal courts will not protect Jews and must be replaced. This is a disaster.
3. detention for illegals
jennifer ,   jerusalem, Israel   (09.16.13)
its been too good for them! send them back to their place of origin, and bill their country!
4. Someone please explain!
M ,   Tel Aviv   (09.16.13)
'Released directly into South Tel Aviv'?? I read just last week that they will all be deported after the holidays are over. So why would they be released and not deported???? Obviously the ones currently detained have infiltrated into Israel illegally.
5. The infiltrators are a big threat to Israel .
(09.16.13)
6. High court = the BIGGEST danger for the future of Israel !
(09.16.13)
7. Leftist Judges must adopt africans
(09.16.13)
8. There is a difference
A Jerusalemite ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (09.16.13)
between infiltrators and refugees. This must be noted and acted upon. The one is voluntary and not necessarily in need. The other a case of desperation wherein providing help is our duty.
9. What about us?
Ben ,   Tel aviv   (09.16.13)
Israeli citizens who pay taxes and put our lives on the line to fight for this country?! These judges just robbed us of OUR dignity and humanity along with health and safety in favor of illegal mostly-Muslim migrants. What's the point of fighting with Palestine or even Iran at this point when we just gave country away anyway?
10. More disease, more crime and violence for Israel.
(09.16.13)
11. Judges must be in jail with their african friends
(09.16.13)
12. Uganda?
Avi ,   Israel   (09.16.13)
Is Uganda not absorbing most of them as previously deported? And we want the West Bank to recognize us as the Jewish state when we ourselves cannot even do it. Abbas, you can have Israel I give up.
13. And these are Jewish judges?
Mad ,   Israel   (09.16.13)
Are they mentally disabled or just self-loathing? The only thing that can preserve our Jewish state is sarin gas and terror attacks. Perhaps then we will stop being so negligent and choose government that preserves our Jewish nation and quality of life and not destroy it.
14. Syria: your 'intervention' is desperately needed!
(09.16.13)
15. Why not deport them immediately instead of detaining them?
Rivkah   (09.16.13)
16. upset
Jason ,   Petach Tikva   (09.16.13)
This really is giving carte blanche for anyone to illegally enter Israel and stay forever. What are we doing here? What are we fighting for? The flood gates are about to open for all of Africa's poor. This one decision has destroyed Zionism. The fence will help a little, but not much. Meanwhile all the talk of deporting illegals is just that - talk. The government is incompetent, the supreme court anti-Zionist. We have lost.
17. Every one of them are criminals
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (09.16.13)
Illegal entry into any country on the planet is a criminal offense. If we cannot jail them - then we must deport them ALL today
18. A racist decision by a racist court
daniel ,   TA - IL   (09.16.13)
any jewish israeli will be punished for violating laws... poor invaders seeking enonomic prosperity can do what they want. I as a law abiding citizen am punished, violators are not SICK and racist
19. Goodwill gesture to Obama? I just don't get it.
(09.16.13)
20. Thanks for ruining our holiday
Daniel ,   Florentin, Tel Aviv   (09.16.13)
My wife and I have been online for the past 2 hours trying to find an apartment and calling realtors so we can move out of Florentin instead of preparing for Sukkot. She walks everywhere with our young daughter and upon this news I don't think it will be safe for her within a few days to even go to the gym which is 4 blocks away by herself. I don't understand how any Israeli politician can endanger his own citizens this way and for what? What do they get out of violence and crime that is often perpetrated by these people?
21. THE COURT IS RIGHT. THIS LAW IS OUTRIGHT RACISM!
STUDE HAM   (09.16.13)
22. Here's what you do.
Michael ,   Kokhav Ya'ir, Israel   (09.16.13)
When we capture an illegal we should, within days, find out who they are, get them a new passport and a ticket back to their homeland. Problem solved!
23. Illegal infiltrators
Lou ,   Rishon   (09.16.13)
Also, Shelley Yachimowitz can take some into her home and maybe her children can get friendly with them and maybe even marry them!!!
24. High Court?
Mila ,   Ramat Gan   (09.16.13)
Well, they are definitely high on some sort of illicit drugs to come up with such a ridiculous and dangerous **solution**
25. The whole idea of building detention centers for them is....
Jeremy ,   Israel   (09.16.13)
a total waste of taxpayers MONEY. It is also cruel and stupid!!!! Deport them immediately and build the border fence higher. Place guards there 24/7 in the meantime. Only explanation I can see is that SOMEBODY is making money off this detention idea. For sure everybody else is losing.
26. without being accused of anything?
Orly ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (09.16.13)
... how about entering the country illegaly? That's still a crime, isn't it?
27. I'm biracial
Gabe ,   Chitown   (09.16.13)
My mom is a Hungarian Jew and my dad is of Afro-Guyanese decent. Growing up I was more inclined to associate myself with hoodrats and enjoyed the thrills of Chicago street life but for the past several years I have been exploring my Jewish roots and visited Israel through Birthright this past summer. I feel really bad for residents of Tel Aviv. This is not a race issue, the immigrants simply have no respect for Israel or its people. They loiter, scope out cars to check if any doors were left open, and I see the hungry way they look at women. City brats like myself never targeted innocent people especially women we just fooled around with wannabe gangsters like us to see who flexed first. So as a part African, I feel no sympathy for them and stand behind people of Israel.
28. High Court? High on what exactly?
(09.16.13)
29. High Court - you have two options re infiltrators:
Barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (09.16.13)
1) The High Court takes full responsibility for the infiltrators - housing, feeding, health, etc. in their own homes or in the High Court - but not in the streets of Israel. 2) Deport them now if it is illegal to keep them in detention.
30. South Tel Aviv not only place infiltrators living
Barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (09.16.13)
They are also in Haifa, loads of them in the lower districts of the city. Sometimes I see them on the buses in Carmel and Ahuza districts. Wish this government would do something about this before it gets out of hand.
