1. In four words: "Highly Pretentious little show!"
just saying ,   Israel   (10.06.13)
The only works worth paying money to see are those at the Wolfson Museum of Hechal Shlomo and the work of Ziv Koren at the train station. Musrara is free but very thin. The rest is well pretentious and very very mediocre! One's money will be better spent in going to see the mainstream Manofim art exhibit which is inclusive of all of Israel's citizens and residents. Which is all to say that this lively bunch of anglo-Jewish (can't even call them Israelis because they are so foreign in their mentality to Israel even if they have come on aliyah) should have just called this "The Anglo-Jewish Contemporary Art Show" instead of taking on the grandiose, pretentious and pompous title "Jerusalem Biennale for Contemporary Jewish Art."
2. Haredi, Modern Orthodox and secular ?
Akiva ,   NYC   (10.11.13)
Haredi, Modern Orthodox and secular Jewish artists, BUT where are the Conservative, Reform, Liberal, Reconstructionist Jewish artists?
3. Number 2
The Truth ,   Israel   (10.20.13)
Conservative would maybe count for being modern orthodox.... anything less than that is termed under secular. Reform, liberal and re-constructionist all fall under the category of secular... In my opinion. That's not really Judaism so secular it is (at the most).
