Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (10.03.13)
...1 Country, Palestine Israel.
2. Mr Efraim Karsh,
dr harry ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (10.03.13)
"They have refused all solutions over the past 20 years." There must have been a typo here. What 20 years. More like 100 years. The arabs have said NO to everything. Then, Now & Future.
3. Ban Indyk from the "peace" talks
DT ,   TA Israel   (10.03.13)

6. #3 Indeed. This is between Israel and the...
A ,   Belgium   (10.03.13)
*COUGH* "palestinians". Why should the US get involved in what is essentially the survival of the Jewish state, when their own country is collapsing in every direction? The Iranians have put their curse on America, and so have the "palestinians". American foreign policy is as baffled as its president, aimless and purposeless.
7. 99% of the world knows the solution
Gunnar ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (10.03.13)
Israel withdraws to the 1967 borders (with some minor, minor changes) and dismantles the settlements. The future Palestinian state accepts to be demilitarized, gives up the right to return for refugees and all Arab states - and Iran! - recognizes Israel's right to exist and end the hostilities. It's all quite simple, frankly!
8. Pal intent is to get US+EU to boycott and sanction Israel
Sam ,   Canada   (10.04.13)
The Palestinians don't want any Jewish majority Israel and their intent isn't a peace agreement. Their intent is to convince a naive US and EU that they want a 2 state solution and Israel is blocking it. They want to convince the US and EU to therefore boycott Israel and as we see with the EU on settlements the West is dumb enough to do it. It won't give Palestinians a state and they will be left banging their heads in frustration.

10. #7 Isnt that what Olmert offered, expecting even less from
Jrebecca ,   Modiin   (10.03.13)
the Palestinians? Been there, done that, Yawn. All these people who think "It's simple" Obama thought so too, promised a solution in 3 years. Pitty this know it alls have such short memories, and an inability to hear what the arabs say.
11. 10. Nothing less than the return of ALL
lydia ,   Brisbane   (10.04.13)
Israels self imposed obligations UN242 acknowledges this. Israels dilemma lies in the fact that the Abbas can not accept less than King Abdullah of Jordon rejected and definitely not less than. Arafat rejected.
12. Tribal versus Rational
Zechariah   (10.04.13)
The settlements ought stay for.a 1:1 land swap with islamic israel.a part of area C and the Jordan Valley needs Militirization To Protect against Psychofanatics .Right of return needs to be deferred and minimilized because of the Arabs Revolts Massacres and Tortures against Jewish right of return that became urgent from 1882 but especially with the rise of nazism and its genocide of the Jews and Mass Murder of many others in the many millions.
13. Internatinalize Area C
Zechariah   (10.04.13)
Internationalize area C with a Jewish NATO Bedouin Jordanian Army Massive with anti ballistic and Deterrant capacity and allow Palestinian and Jewish Mega cities with agricultural zones in between And Gated with Scandanavian Human Right Monitors for the Palestinians Mainly Norwegian and the Humanitarian Religious for the Settlers Similiar areas in the Negev .Total area A few thousand Square kilometres .
14. To N 7, Gunnar
Luiz F Haddad ,   Niteroi, Brazil   (10.04.13)
Your comment is too fair. But frontiers must be more redrawed on the scope of Israel's security. Past aggressions can't be forgotten. Hence, Arab Palestinian State will exist, beside of her Jewish neighbor. Both people deserve permanent peace after a long nightmare.
15. Accept Israel's RIGHT to be, to exist as the sovereign...
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (10.04.13)
...nation-state of the Jewish people now. Without such an acceptance - one that contradicts the PLO's Charter that calls for Israel's demise and the "cleansing" of the Jewish ancestral homeland of its Jews through all means possible!! - we, Jews, within and without our nation-state of Israel, will not lower our guards any further!! Never Again!!
16. 12 No 2000YJewish ROR to Palestine
lydia ,   Brisbane   (10.04.13)
Palestinian right of return is immediate and neither ancient nor mythical. What does Jewish problem with the Nazis have to do with Palestine.
17. #7 99% of the world are dumb as a door knob
Adam ,   London   (10.04.13)
if 99% of the world truly believe the muslims, and arabs in particular then they might as well commit suicide. in the meantime you can try and save the women in your country from being raped daily by your precious muslims or you can join them just so you walk freely in the streets of sweeden
18. Long and arduous process?
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (10.04.13)
YOU BET Frustrating? Exhausting? Time Consuming? YOU BET Nobody said that resolving so many issues would be easy and happen overnight The KEY is to work doggedly on away from the glare of publicity AND OUTSIDE INTERFERENCE and try to negotiate efficiently and pragmatically without being burdened the baggage of the past We wish the negotiations well
19. Train has many more Stations to go
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (10.04.13)
Its long and its slow. There is NO deadline. There is NO line in the sand But long slow patient and deliberate, attention to detail is how we want our Negotiators to proceed Away from the glare of publicity and outside interference And the more we talk, the more we find solutions and the more we find solutions the more we talk Yes its difficult but the best things in like never came easy
20. @17 Adam - That's an intelligent comment from...
Gunnar ,   Gothenburg, Swedn   (10.04.13)
...the country that gave the world football hooliganism. Hate to break it to you, but women in this country are far more concerned about being raped by drunk, bald British tourists with beer bellies.
21. The tiny land belongs to Israel.
Chaim ,   Israel   (10.04.13)
Let every good Jew, Israeli patriot and friend of Israel demand the IMMEDIATE, permanent end of these evil talks. This tiny land has belonged to Jews for more than 3,500 years and always will. Israel has no need for acceptance by fictional "Palestinians".
