1. ""It's not peace, it's not negotiations."
A ,   Belgium   (10.06.13)
It's the "palestinians" whining, complaining, threatening but offering nothing in return. MK Ariel is absolutely correct, it is time to reassess the uselessness of these "peace talks" before Livni and Bibi allow themselves to be forced to give up more land and free more "palestinian" murderers and criminals.
2. Ariel
Ralph ,   Rishon   (10.06.13)
This Minister is not interested in anything other than occupying the land of another people, to control over a million Palestinians, and then when the next interfada breaks out, to blame them. He couldn't care less that tens of Israeli soldiers and civilians are killed or wounded, all he has on his mind is occupation.
3. shortsighted politicians
Reuven ,   Netanya   (10.06.13)
This breed of politicians who have no understanding of politics and responsible governing are the reason why we are still in this situation. When will there be politicians who understand that what they need to do is not always the popular decision. Wait, of course, these idiots have been elected by the idiots that surrounds me. With these attitudes and mindsets we will never have a peace nor a normal life.
4. Israel must demand strongly for incitement to cease or else!
Son of Cyrus ,   UK   (10.06.13)
5. Halt? Should permanently suspend!!
(10.06.13)
Isn't it obvious by now year after year that these people (Palestinians) are not interested in peace??
6. This attempted murder of a 9 year old Jewish girl is clearly
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (10.06.13)
one of the outcome of the call, from the UN General Assembly podium, by the head of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) to intensify the "non-violent popular resistance" - an act that contradict the signed agreements between the PLO and Israel, incidentally!! - and which is interpreted by the Arabs who listen to such a call as it was meant: go and mass murder Jews. No, this is not my imagination; it is rather an observation based on reading the PLO Charter whose main thrust is the "cleansing" of the Jewish ancestral homeland of its Jews; the demise of the Jewish people's sovereign state, Israel; and, the use of all means available in order to bring the above about. The PLO Charter was supposed to be changed in 1993 based on a signed commitment - another one...!! - by the PLO head at the time, Mr. Arafat, but 20 years later the Charter is still in tact. And, yet, some consider these people as "moderate". One wonder, would non-moderate need to construct gas chambers in order to be viewed as such...??
7. Ralph # 2
(10.06.13)
Such a shame, that we have left and right; I fear it has always been so; The haves and have nots, Cain and Habel The left live in a fantasy make believe world ; No basis in reality but dreams. Ralph: if you were able to assess the situation objectively, do you think you would come to the same conclusion? I somehow doubt it. Stop hating your own people, and think what history teaches, then look at what we must do to survive.
8. The "peace talks" are a sham.
Reuven   (10.06.13)
Pull out of them and never again release terrorists as a goodwill gesture.
9. Abbas is just like Arafat
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (10.06.13)
He brags about sending terrorists to murder our children and then whines when we won't all die on command. Time to end the farce - execute Abbas and all of his aides
10. "Palestinians" are mortal foes like Nazis.
Chaim ,   Israel   (10.06.13)
Churchill was under enormous pressure to "talk peace" with Hitler. But Churchill had the courage and wisdom to make war on the Nazis instead. Churchill knew he was dealing with mortal foes. The same thing is true about "Palestinians". "Peace talks with Palestinians" are lunacy. We are dealing with people who seek to steal our sole tiny Homeland and mass murder us all. "Palestinians" must be dealt with as the mortal foes they are.
11. Criminals will always hate. Leaders are not responsible.
Michael ,   California, USA   (10.06.13)
The peace negotiations MUST go on, even if it takes another 30 years. (But I hope they will have an agreement next week.) If there is no peace agreement, the U.N. and Great Powers will need to impose peace on the region and supervise it for the next 30 years.
12. Try Abbas as a war criminal.
Chaim ,   Israel   (10.06.13)
What Israel really needs is to bring Mahmoud Abbas to justice for the Munich Massacre and many other crimes. Put Abbas on trial as a war criminal. There is a more than enough evidence to convict him.
13. To my brother Chaim.
Luiz F Haddad ,   Niteroi, Brazil   (10.06.13)
Brother Chaim, I do understand your revolt. I think not one agreement with Palestinian leaders can be done by Israel while they don't respect, in fact, the Jewish State and her people. But there are Palestinian people who want peace, like there were Germans who opposed Nazism, and constitute, nowadays, a majority. It is difficult, but firmness and patience have to be linked. Salutes. Shalom.
14. My brother Luiz, how wise you are, and thoughtful. Bravo!
Michael ,   California, USA   (10.06.13)
15. Thank you, Michael.
Luiz F Haddad ,   Niteroi, Brazil   (10.07.13)
