31. What about crimes against humanity committed by UK
Dany ,   Amsterdam   (10.14.13)
Why we do not interrogate some UK diplomatics, they are still occupying Ireland , Malvinas. after WWII during they mandate in Palestine they jailed and deported Jews (Holocaust survivors) to concentration camps only to pleased they Arabs friends.
32. The evil of the Hitlerite world
Brod ,   USA   (10.14.13)
Israel should stop sending their officials to Hitlerite countries in Europe. It will only endanger them. Israel can tell those Hitlerite countries to go to Hell.
33. #18
Prosecco   (10.14.13)
Australia is occpied land by British Empire. Go back to your land and leave AU for aboriginals. Arrest you is very big honor for you. I would better punch your nose. This is exactly what provacators deserve.
34. Again............
Mike Carmel ,   Rishon le Zion   (10.14.13)
What a load of pathetic talkbackers. Go on then, jump on that worn-out old xenophobic bandwagon again and start screaming, bleating and wailing "antisemitism, antisemitism, antisemitism....." like a load of skwarking chickens. That should convince them. How utterly puerile.
35. The British Ambassador is a good man.
Tzimmes ,   Tel Aviv   (10.14.13)
Do not blame the present British Ambassador he is Jewish and his heart is in a good place. The culprits are Jew hating and Arabist foreign Office accompanied by a leftist wet liberal elite. England suffers from these pansies as much as anyone else
36. I find it very amusing
Sarah B ,   Tel Aviv/London   (10.14.13)
that those who object to Israelis being questioned on entry to the UK, have no objections to British citizens being questioned on entry to Israel. Says must of the mindset of the average settler, who believe that Israelis shouldn't be held to the same standards that they themselves advocate.
37. #34 well said Mike.

zionist forever   (10.14.13)
i don't know what it is with security at Ben Gurion, last time I was traveling they did the same to me. Even wanted to know why I didn't have my tudat zahut with me, I told them I am flying abroad I don't need it there they told me yes but you should have it anyway. I have been pulled out for interrogation before and I carry both British & Israeli passports and speak hebrew, white skin so nobody is going to confuse me with an arab. I actually had ELAL do that to me once on the British end entire third degree had to pull my pants down and all.
39. Two reactions
(10.14.13)
The British occupation of the Malvinas is one of the modern era's greatest crimes. In response to the British arrogance, Israel should supply Argentina with weapons to free the Malvinas. Their is no doubt that Cameron is a war criminal for his illegal bombardment of Libyan civilians. Israel should do everything possible to bring the butcher Cameron to the Hague for trial.
40. Eli Marom - HEATHROW
Adam ,   London   (10.14.13)
They probably wanted to shake his hand. Welcome to The UK
41. Return of the perfidious Brits!
ben Yisrael ,   tel Aviv   (10.14.13)
How many Jews died in Auschwitz because these so-called civilized Brits wouldn't let them into the Land of Israel!?! I wouldn't go there for free. They're no better than the Nazis.
42. #33
Darren Ben John ,   Townsville Australia   (10.14.13)
You couldn't reach!
43. Maj.Gen Eli Marom Arrest in London
David Goshen ,   Kiryat Ono Israel   (10.14.13)
It is most irritating to constantly read references to the Mamara incident in our media which repeatedly gloss over the fact that those Turks killed were part of 50 odd military forces placed on board to attack the boarding party and had explessed the intention of fighting to the death. They were not peaceful demonstratiors ,were very well armed and confined the peaceful protests to their cabins. Our media which describes all passengers as "activists" fails to spell out the real truth to the world and helps our enemies!

Ivor Evenbiggergun   (10.14.13)
Menachem Begi did provide Argentina with arms during the conflict in 1982. We have long memories, If you were involved in Cast Lead and the raid on the Msamara avoid the UK and you won't get questioned, it is that simple. Afterall gauging by the talkbacks to this article it is not as if Israelis like the UK is it?
45. #32 Brod
Sarah B ,   Tel Aviv/London   (10.14.13)
Does that include countries whose fathers name their children after the major figures of the third reich?

Don't be so sure. Nobody is out of range. And your broken nose will happen when you less expect it.

Franco ,   Roma, Italia   (10.14.13)
My son travels to Israel several times during the year, since he studies in a prestigeous Israeli University. His interrogation doesn't bother him at all, 'cause he knows the security measures reduce greatly the risk of terror attacks on the plane.

(10.14.13)
Israel's actions in Cast Lead and Marmara incident were perfectly legal by any standard. Cameron's butchery in Libya are clearly war crimes. Fair enough that you warn Israelis not to visit the UK, but don't defend inhuman brutes like Cameron. And you are right, Israelis don't like the British. The British received control of Israel to help the Jews reestablish their homeland. They immediately started importing foreign Arabs to settle on the Jewish land, while preventing Jewish immigration. Not one Jew would have been murdered in the Shoah if the British followed international law and follows the mandate they received. Instead, the greedy British violated International Law in their attempt to control Middle East oil.
49. The future is here
Tom W ,   USA   (10.14.13)
As more and more Muslim are becoming "British subjects" - like "Lord Ahmed" -, holders of British passports, all "neo-Britons" entering Israel must be subjected to very thorough investigation. Britain is the epicenter of European islamization, even more so than France, their Arabist leaning goes back to WWI and their hatred of Israel is proven many times over. Anything that connects Israel to Britain is imbued with death and abuse, ask Sir John Glubb pasha. It's incomprehensible as to why go Israeli officials to that god forsaken, hostile nation? A. Merkel of Germany is a true, helping friend unlike the embargo pusher Britons.
50. UK is flooded with Jihadists
CJK   (10.14.13)
by the admission of uk authorities, the country is flooded with thousands of jihadists who are under constant surveillance but who are neither arrested nor detained. the uk gives asylum to active jihadists, like the recently captured al qaeda mastermind al-libi. one of the leaders of the muslim brotherhood was given asylum a few weeks ago. the uk is a slave to islamic terrorists and their paymasters in the gulf who have been blackmailing and extorting uk governments for years. the uk governments lack the courage to act in the interests of the vast majority of their citizens. hence, they detain an israeli while the terrorists walk the streets of london threatening beheadings and demanding implementation of sharia law.
51. Was not detained.Only questioned.
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (10.14.13)
52. 30-I met a survivor of that attack
(10.14.13)
Should have sued UK.
53. To No. 1 Hermon Ben-Israel
Marian ,   Romania   (10.14.13)
I think the only solution left for the Brits is to leave Britain
54. #3 Maybe you should have let her know
Mark ,   Lodz, Poland   (10.14.13)
how you earn your bread before her trip, David
55. #44 No, it isn't
Mark ,   Lodz, Poland   (10.14.13)
56. This is appalling
Vlad   (10.14.13)
Marom really should have known better than to go to Britain, which is the global headquarters of BDS, or at least tried to keep quiet so no one who didn't need to know knew. But the British government itself has been embarrassed over these incidents and has tried to change its laws to make this harder. All these talkbacks are pathetic and petty and stupid.
57. I agree with #49 100%
Rod ,   Fargo N.Dakota   (10.14.13)
58. Uk & Israel
The Bald Scotsman ,   Tampa, USA   (10.14.13)
I was born and raised in Scotland. I also lived in Israel for 10 years. I now hold an American Passport as well. When it comes to bigotry and anti this that and the next thing, there is plenty of blame to go around. Yes, Britain has its share of hypocrits. Yes a lot of Israelis are pushy and lack manners. Baruch Hashem! When you have neighbors that want to annihilate you, it's hard to be polite. Finally, as we say in America 'Have a nice day.' Just don't turn around so I can verbally stab you in the back
59. questioned?
diana ,   buenos aires, argent   (10.15.13)
My husband, an ex pilot American Air Force , travelling with me (I speak Hebrew fluently) was questioned for quite some time. Me, they let me pass. Nobody got upset. I waited. My husband answered all questions and when finished we continued our trip. No big deal. That's the world after 9/11....................

You are missing out. Israel is a great place to visit. I thought like you until I went to see it for myself last year. I was very pleasantly surprised and I will definitely go to Israel again.
