i don't know what it is with security at Ben Gurion, last time I was traveling they did the same to me. Marom really should have known better than to go to Britain, which is the global headquarters of BDS, or at least tried to keep quiet so no one who didn't need to know knew. I was born and raised in Scotland. I also lived in Israel for 10 years. I now hold an American Passport as well. My husband, an ex pilot American Air Force , travelling with me (I speak Hebrew fluently) was questioned for quite some time. Me, they let me pass. Nobody got upset. I waited. You are missing out. Israel is a great place to visit. I thought like you until I went to see it for myself last year. I was very pleasantly surprised and I will definitely go to Israel again.
