31. # 30 - I guess you have not heard of the Iran- Iraq war ,...
split ,   US   (10.22.13)
That was a defensive war started by our pawn (then) Iraq. There's no hard proof of Iran's involvement in terrorism that's all you got is Israeli accusation. Hezbollah was classify as a terrorist organization by a couple of Israeli stooges and only recently due to US pressure the paramilitary wing by few others. They're regarded as a resistance movement throughout the Arab and Muslim worlds just like Hamas.
32. to no. 31 split
jack ,   des moines, iowa   (10.22.13)
You said Iran has been in peaceful coexistence. The war was based on territorial disputes and the savagery of it from both sides was hardly peaceful coexistence .Your idiotic comment that Hamas and Hezbollah are not terrorist organizations is so ridiculous as to be hard to respond to. The blowing up of civilian buses, killing of school children. intentionally targeting civilians with missiles etc would probably be considered terrorism by rational individuals Why not just admit that you are an anti-Semite who has nothing better to do than spend your time on this website? There are thousands of Anti-Semitic websites you could spend your time on so serious readers of Ynetnews could be spared your mindless thoughts
33. nuclear weapons
rm ,   NL Amsterdam   (10.22.13)
Israel has them and it doesn't want any other country in the region to have them. And it will probably go to war for that....but don't pretend it is for any other so-called existentian threat...that's all make believ

It's easy to check and confirm who started the war and how many countries I mean stooges share your opinion on Hezbollah and Hamas status ,...
35. With might comes responsibility
Ali Hussian ,   Kut, Iraq   (10.26.13)
The greatest negative about Israel,is its lack of desire to help the region in need while it is the strongest force .Rarely des that applies like the Syrian situation where bleeding Iran helps the Syrian people .Yet Israel is playing politic while it should play wisdom and startegy .
36. #35 - Iran has interests in Syria
Dana ,   Israel   (10.26.13)
It wants to keep Syria under its influence. If Israel helps either side, the victor will still hate Israel and continue to call for its destruction
37. #36
Ali Hussain ,   Kut, Iraq   (10.27.13)
This is the point to weaken Iran through the Syrian civil war .Iran is an oil dependent poorly managed economy , so bleeding them will surely make them blink again .The first blink is not sufficient as the writer is correct , Iran still hopes to get. A good deal ( bad ) ( in light of the Obama weaknesses) ,I reckon once Iran blink again it would be much more serious and potentially the world Could geta better deal .The sure way is to bleed them and their key supporter in Syria .The next step is for Iran to devalue its currency which could happen. In few months f the fickless Obama doesn't lift the banking sanctions , then the Iranian economy would be structurally damaged , and it will start into the political fabric .Remember the worst fear for the Iranian elites is to lose power .
38. #37: good point
