1. Europe: pay us for your criminal acts!
Larry ,   LA   (10.30.13)
If European countries had to pay us Jews for all of the cumulative damages that have been perpetrated upon us over the last 2,000 years we Jews would own half of Europe. If Arab countries had to pay us Jews for all of the cumulative damages that have been perpetrated upon us over the last 2,000 years we Jews would own half of the Middle East. Let us realize that it has been the way of the world to rob, plunder, rape and murder Jews for gain for most of Europe's and Arabia's history.

If the US had to pay black people for all of the cumulative damages (slavery) that have been perpetrated upon them over the last centuries Africa would own half of the United States. There are many different versions of your little sentence.
3. Larry seems to believe....

.....That ALL these horrors of the last 2000 years were commited in atmospheres of 20st century enlightened democracies with only the Jews as targets. That is only true for the Shoah and even then Jews were not the only victims. The last 2000 years have been violent, Larry. Violent for everyone, not just the Jews. To expect modern day Europeans to reimburse the Jews for all that (how? you want money?)is simply illustrative of a breathtaking ethno-centrism that is furthermore blind to the cvircumstances of the day. I have seen people here blaming modern-day Swedes for the Edict of Alhambra, by virtue of them being Europeans. Europe, for some talkbackers, seems to be a person, instead of a World Region. Then again, I also read the Hebrew version of this site, and what strikes me that the average talkbacker there is one HELL of a lot more friendly, decent and, dare I say, intelligent than the ignorant mental cases (not all) that these boards seem to attract.
