61. What do I care
Reuven ,   Netanya   (11.05.13)
about what happens in Ireland and neither should be anyone of us. Stop whining about what happens in another country.
62. you want to boycott?
daniela ,   panama   (11.05.13)
Do it! But do it with everything jews and israelis have produced. Do not be a hipocryt! Just let us know when you need a medicine, a medical treatment, an agricultural technology or a computer technology, among the so many things we have presented the whole word, without distinction of race, religion or color... You see? You.. who are speaking about boycotting.. you have only offer hate and a pseudo politically correct position. Nothing more than that.. what a shame..
63. BDS
Leonard ,   Green River, U.S.A.   (11.05.13)
Let's settle down & take a breath. The BDS are trouble makers & instigators. Their sole purpose is to create a fued between we Jews & the Irish. We must seperate & isolate their membership & not attack the whole Irish people. The only way to defeat your enemy is to isolate him from the people he hides amongst, and attack only him specifically.
64. Ireland is now a broken country
(11.05.13)
Natives emigrating out , whilst the asylum free loaders come in from all over the world most Jobs going to the immigrants. 450000 out of 4500000 are out of work
65. 35,46
Irish friend ,   Ireland   (11.05.13)
As a regular visitor to Israel for both work and pleasure let me assure the great people of Israel that this does not represent the views of the majority of people in Ireland. Contary to what they might think the majority of people in Ireland are too busy trying to get through their own struggle durning these difficult times to care or worry about another country. 5.2 million people in Ireland and less than 150 members of this stupid ,ignorant organisation, hardly a mojority. poster number 35, an American talking about soccer ha ha. number 46, not everybody supported the I.R.A. again at it's height 200 members, maybe a little research and reading might expand your limited knowledge.
66. 59
anton ,   istanbul   (11.05.13)
why would they boycott f turkey? eu doesnt recognize turkish cyprus they are under political blockade already since israel is recognized state, europeans punishment comes in diffrent form we are not getting free pass as you indicate
67. Labeling products is good for Israel
Harri ,   EU   (11.05.13)
It is very difficult to buy Israeli products, when I don't know if it is produced honestly in Israel, or if it is produced illegally on land which don't belong to Israel even according to Israeli law. Settlers should pay taxes to PA as long as Judea and Samaria don't belong legally to Israel.
68. #59 Hello! Yes, we know there are nice people in Ireland
Logic ,   Israel   (11.05.13)
Your country is actually one I really want to visit someday.
69. Limerick Pogroms in Ireland.
Arlette ,   Paris, France   (11.05.13)
Ireland was known for its Pogroms. Limerick was one of the known ones.
70. 53 Mendoza
alsky ,   toronto   (11.05.13)
you obviously dont understand your enemy
71. 60 'world is not fool'
(11.05.13)
actually, they are! G-d bless Israel !
72. Ireland's boycott
Glo Schlosberg ,   Philadelphia, PA   (11.05.13)
Those deluded souls who identify with the Palestinian issue, are misled. Christ would surely disapprove of this condemnation of his people and their claims to their G-d given land.
73. That sucks.
Jarvis ,   Joseph USA   (11.05.13)
Should really stop making Israel appear to be an apartheid state. South Africa? Unarmed. West Bank and Gaza? Armed Guerrillas.
74. Yeah, they'll boycott the "easy" stuff
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (11.05.13)
They can feel so morally sanctimonious boycotting Israeli dates, hummus or face creams. But what of the billions in other goods that reach their shores? Well, some of it is hidden - the software in their cell-phone, or the specialty chemicals used by European industry. Or the CPU in their Mac or PC. Other stuff is sold to the civilian and military sector - water purification and defense systems, for example - which they can't very well boycott. But I challenge any of these boycotting fools to turn down Israeli-made pharmaceuticals in favor of more expensive name-brand, or tell their doctor not to utilize Israeli diagnostic tools. Spoiled, arrogant and presumptuous is what these boycotters are. That they're selective in their moral outrage is also anti-Semitic by European definition.
75. Back to the 1930s!! Wake up, Jews, and ascend to Israel!!
Hermon Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (11.05.13)
76. After reading it I went out and spent $600 on the Israeli
Export to California ,   Ready to Buy More   (11.05.13)
wine! Buy! Buy! Buy products from the Judea/Samaria! Buy!
77. #1 Yeah, Israel is stupid to let trash like you in
Frank ,   USA   (11.05.13)
but the antisemites always reveal themselves. You will not succeed or hopefully survive in your hateful skin!
78. Israel should put out a website where to buy products
Am Israel Chai ,   Orange County Califo   (11.05.13)
from Yesha! I and all my friends will be buying out the stores with the Israeli-made products.
79. Harold , USA # 55
Arnold ,   Montreal-Canada   (11.05.13)
So you think Israel got screwed by the Russians ? In that case I think Canada should go ahead and get screwed by Russians also. We could use some of their keen scientific minds. The Russians took Israel to the top of the hi-tech mountain. Jew or not Jew. Aside from that , imagine having a circumcision in your teens or early 20's. Ouch .
80. #14 Racist and prejudice comments
Avner ,   Tel Aviv   (11.05.13)
1990s olim from Soviet Union are the most economically successfully and upwardly mobile immigration ever to come to Israel. Because of olim from Soviet Union, we had the high-tech boom, and they account for the highest proportion of mathematicians and scientists. However, people of low intelligence will hold prejudices, while they benefited from this immigration.
81. #50, what Jews do best is Tikkun Olam and help the world
David ,   Boston   (11.05.13)
IF you dont want to use Intel processors, water saving technology, champions of charity, medicine, Nobel prize winners, by all means boycott us. What we do best is improve the lives of everyone around us. If you dont want it, dont buy what we create, dont listen to our music, dont enjoy what we bring to the world. Sounds like what you do best is anti-semitism. I prefer to create productivity, happiness, justice.
82. #59 Irishdude
DavidR ,   USA   (11.05.13)
Thank you! It would be wonderful if all Israel supporters in Ireland would descend upon those stores and buy everything they can find with yellow stickers. Give the food to the poor if it is more than you can eat. I'll bet they will not refuse it over the yellow sticker. Like you Irishdude, I am very very ashamed of Ireland. My ancestors were from Ireland and I have always been proud of that. Now, I am not so sure. It seems the catholic influence on Ireland has stolen their souls and minds. Beware lest this bunch of thugs doing this start rounding up Jews and stuffing them in gas chambers.
83. So let's have a worldwide
Shalom ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (11.05.13)
boycott of Irish and Palestinian products (not much of the latter except bomb belts, though).
84. Against the boycott
Lenny ,   Dublin   (11.05.13)
These BDS people make me ashamed to be Irish. Scratch the surface here and you'll find catholic and protestant community still ready to slaughter each other.. We still have WALLS deviding communities in Belfast.. And we have the cheek to point fingers are other people!.. Go Israel
85. #1 - would you support labeling of "Palestinian" goods?
William ,   Israel   (11.05.13)
Would you also support the labeling of "Palestinian" goods....to inform the public of what they're buying? Would you also be in favor of large yellow stickers on them stating "Support justice in Palestine - boycott Hamas and the PLO for atrocities against civilians in Palestine and Israel"? Just curious how far your sympathies actually go.
86. Very entertaining reading the responses
Ivor Evenbiggergun   (11.05.13)
from the usual suspects. Ever more delusional they are now claiming that mobile phones and computers are Israeli inventions. They are not, mobile phones or cellphones were invented in the United states by Motorola http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_mobile_phones As for the computer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Babbage Be interesting if their hatred of all things European has led them to bocott jet engines, tarmac, concrete, rubber, internal combustion engine. Although I guess that will probably different.
87. #1 - they should know what they buy and from where
William ,   Israel   (11.05.13)
but it must be based on factual legal terms and not political biases, as this one is. Also, no one should be threatened or coerced to support a ban that would be illegal under WTO for the same political biases, which this clearly does. Would you also accept those who would willingly purchase these products despite the labeling, and the yellow BDS sticker, as well?
88. #16 - other countries already rejected such actions
William ,   Israel   (11.05.13)
Ireland is special in this way because their homegrown terrorists, the IRA, worked closely with your homegrown terrorists, the PLO, with training and arming. It's just professional courtesy.
89. #25 - and I consume Madjool dates in your's.
William ,   Israel   (11.05.13)
90. "Israeli" dates
arik ,   usa   (11.05.13)
One of the most useful articles published in ynet and an excellent complement to the daily rants about how America has betrayed you. I bought some dates here labeled "Produce of Israel" Delilah "Jordan River." Last time for setter dates Instead, I'll buy California dates.
