israel needs the outspoken lieberman who has the courage to speak what others only dare think.

lieberman was acquitted unanimously by the court, and this acquittal was just and long overdue. the attorney general's charges against him were built on thin air, based on allegations that even if true, did not amount to breach of trust.

That is old news. Just before the 2009 elections, the police arrested Lieberman's daughter in a pathetic and clear attempt to influence the elections. When the elections were over, the police released his daughter because she was completely innocent of any wrongdoing, they had no evidence, and they had invented all the allegations.

But what the extreme leftists have done to him for the past 17 years is outrageous. This is the time to reform the judicial system. The Supreme Court needs to be fired and replaced by one that follows the laws and does not invent them. AG Weinstein and the entire State Persecutors office should be fired. They should represent the government and not as an adjunct to the Court system. We need checks and balances to end the extreme lefts dictatorship

This was always an iffy issue to begin with, from a standpoint of it being criminal or not. This was less a matter of criminal behavior and more a matter of acceptable and normative behavior of an elected senior figure. The court is not the rule on these type of issues, the public - the electorate - is. And this really the sad part to me: when people cheer to Lieberman and boo the court it mostly speaks volumes of the people and its standard for its public servants. Not a good one, might I add. Overall, this whole episode was yet another brick in the wall; the same wall that allowed mayors with outstanding indictments being reelected recently.

Did any one expect that justice will prevail?

The PA is playing and Iran is playing and both are terrified of Lieberman.

Any politician that a government is investigating for 17 years must be a decent person!
