3. Thank G-d for Meretz
PaulD ,   Jerusalem   (11.11.13)
Were it not for Meretz I wouldn't know who the bad guys or the good guys are. If Meretz is all worked up about the return of Lieberman then it must be a good thing.
4. Mazal Tov, Avigdor Lieberman
CJK   (11.11.13)
we know that you say it like it is to the jew haters of the world.
5. gal on- you are weak, weak
alexi   (11.11.13)
you should get down on your knees and kiss lieberman's feet as he gives israel some backbone instead of running begging the US that you, yechaimovitch do constantly to avoid fighting-oh please help poor israel. You are one of the reasons for antisemitism as non jews look at pitiful weak gal on and peres begging kerry while they stand back when leiberman, bennett, shamir and yaalon walk in front of them. You ought to go the gym and take karate to toughen yourself. Why more jews didn't run and fight in the past is bacause of thinking of people like you.

Alice ,   Israel/Canada   (11.11.13)
Welcome back Mr. Liberman. At least, we have someone in the Knesset who doesnt bow to foreign demands and pressure and says it the way it is. Good luck to you and much success..
9. Now make Kerry deal with Lieberman
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (11.11.13)
And Ashton too. They sought to work with folks more to their liking - doves like Peres and Barak, for example - as a way of exploiting the divides in Israel's leadership. But Lieberman is now Israel's Foreign Minister. Prepare to hear some hard truths and deal with them.
10. I am absolutely in love with that man and available to boot
TaylorT ,   TrailerTrash   (11.11.13)
11. damaging opponents is not politics

12. WELCOME BACK !

" in Lieberman we trust "
13. Unfit
Hammer   (11.11.13)
Even Bolsheviks knew that diplomacy is not for dummies. They called back noble people to represent them on international arena. Somebody here mixing up diplomacy and militancy. What do you want to achieve with Elkin or Lieberman? No bridges unburned left. Better close foreign ministry that became purely interior political battlefield that cost millions and damaging Israeli reputation. The only thing left is to introduce "Two Minutes Hate" to keep useless Deri friend and companion busy with foreign affairs.
14. Welcome back Mr. Lieberman, SIR.
Rodney ,   CT. SA.   (11.11.13)

20. A Sad Day For Israel & For Peace
NATO ,   Cape, South Africa   (11.11.13)
It is a sad day again for Israel that such a person is the foreign minister of our beloved country. Surely Israel with all it's amazing people can find a better person to try and make peace. Lieberman should stop starting problems in South Africa and focus on sorting out the peace process. We definitely don't want a bombastic soul like him representing the jews in South Africa.
21. #20 Better worry about your gov. sticking its nose in Israel
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (11.11.13)
22. #20
Alice ,   Israel/Canada   (11.11.13)
It's a very happy day for Israel, and a sad day for South Africa. NATO, Mr. Liberman knows how to deal with the so called loving-peace peopple, they love so much peace, they are ready so sacrifice Israel. No more. Mr. Liberman will tell it to them bluntly.
23. 20.
Birdi ,   Israel   (11.11.13)
Actually it's a happy day for us here in Israel. How's about your loud mouthed idiotic members of ZA Parliament? None of your monkeys come close to Lieberman, never mind your Zuma!
24. to 20
Jennie ,   Israel/US   (11.12.13)
Oh No. it is a sad day for you and all those, who you are trying to represent... Our Foregn Minister was elected in a Democratic process (thank you very much)...And Lieberman was elected, because He won the majority of votes in a Democratic process... How many Democracies do you know in the ME, mr. "NATO" ?
25. #21 not mine.
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (11.12.13)
26. No. 25, denying, lying, cheating and deceiving like Obama?
(11.12.13)
27. Road block to peace
Larry ,   LA   (11.12.13)
the only blockage to peace is that from the overly idealistic pie-in-the-sky seeking Left who believe that 'giving' concessions will bring peace. Well, if it did, we would have had peace a long time ago. Libermann happens to be correct in holding that strength is our only tool for peace. If we show weakness, the Arabs will take advantage of us. It is the Left, whose dreams of peace have brought more deaths and terror attack than all of the rantings of the Arab muftis. Welcome back, Mr. Libermann, you are sorely needed as FM.
28. #3. The reason Lieberman was persecution.
Chaim ,   Israel   (11.12.13)
#3. To be an Israeli leftist, you must have the infallible belief that you are always correct, while being infallibly wrong about everything important. I believe Labor and Meretz's sorrow over Lieberman's return to politics tells us the real reason for the legal persecution of Lieberman in the first place. Don't forget Labor and Meretz run Israel's "justice system".
29. Lieberman is good for Israel and the Jewish People
Ross Gallen ,   Henderson, USA   (11.12.13)
It is good to see someone who is willing to confront the detractors of the Jewish People and the State of Israel. Lieberman is a fearless advocate for both. Mazel Tov to Mr. Lieberman. Keep up the good work!
30. Beautiful, simply beautiful. Avi, give'em hell.
leo ,   usa   (11.12.13)
