BEDOUIN were on that land long before Liberman's great grand grand fathers were born. They may be were there before Moses was born.

No Harold, it is unlikely any of these Bedouin are particularly on land that was in their families or clans all that long. Most of the Bedouin around here came in late from outside this immediate area, and many mistreated the Fellakhin or villiage Arabs with violence ad by stealing their goats and sheep. The British put a stop to their raids. But all this aside, they cannot keep on having 6 or 8 or 10 children, and taking more and more land for their spread-out land-intensive style of living. There is simply NOT enough land to take and subdivide endlessly. They need to learn to take responsibilty for ecological living in a small crowded country. If they are going to claim to be Palestinians now, THEY are adding fule to the fire, not Mr Lieberman. And again, NO, most Bedouin do NOT have any ancient claims to the land here, as they are late 19th century newcomers.

The Ottomans ruled the land for 7 centuries, the British after that & then Israel. Each of these governments kept records of deeds & titles. If the Beduins, who are nomads by choice had any legal title to any of the lands, all they have to do is go to court with proof. The fact is they don't & they are illegal squatters attempting to steal land. Leiberman is correct - the law was established for EVERYONE to obey, not just Jews. And we will nit be bullied by Arabs in our own country.

All of you Americans came a very long time after Natives were roaming the land for dozens of generations, does that mean you should relinquish rights of all of Northern Amrican lands to them....or is it required only from the Jews?? Land is being allocated to the Bedouins as needed so they may receive services within those built-up areas.They are nomads and as such never settled in any particular area. Their "brothers" in Arab countries are a lot less generous. Go protest against the true injustice there.

That being said, the Bedouin should realize that there lifestyle breeds poverty and they should join us in the 21st century. Accept compensation and better yourselves. Most Native Americans in the US would love this as opposed to reservation life.
