7. Total crap, local caught fish never a big part of Gaza diet
Dr. L. Brnd ,   San Diego, USA   (12.02.13)
The 1.5 million Gazans have never depended on local fisherman to supply anything close to even 1% of the protein they eat. Its nonsense, and cheap propaganda. However, the local boats have played a big part in smuggling weapons into Gaza, and that is what Israels 100% legal blockade has shut off. As long as Gazas rulers are committed to warfare and non-recognition of the Jewish State of Israel they are not entitled to use of Gaza airspace or sea space. Rules of war, just like Allied blockade of Nazi Germany and Japan. Article 51 of UN Charter.

Sink them. They're all barely seaworthy, anyway. (Please understand that shipping has never been a Gaza industry anyway. Don't think fishing trawler; think dinghy. Of course, with the ersatz "Palestinian" spin on it, you'd think they were talking about a fleet of seaworthy fishing smacks. Not so.)

12. # 10 Ever hear the word, 'Victory'?
BUILD BABY BUILD ,   United States   (12.03.13)
To the victor belong the spoils. Possession is nine tenths of the law. The vanquished don't make the rules, they abide by them or are punished. You are no lawyer.... BUILDING BOOM IN ISRAEL, BABY !!!!
13. # 7 You are 100% correct
BUILD BABY BUILD ,   United States   (12.03.13)
the law of war, rules of war, are legal and known by all nations. Gaza is being squeezed by all sides to abide by the law and with war as their primary and only industry, smuggling of course is the issue and still, they try an force their will against all neighboring people and continue the insanity without having learned a whit. Thanks for reminding us of the law when it was recognized by all civilized people now, except ( of course ) for the terrorists pals. EEP BUILDING !!

And every time they fire missiles at civilian targets ( which happens regularly), they are breaching the Geneva Convention too. Their actions are war crimes as is using human shields ( happens regularly). The problem is one side is expected to abide by the rules, the other not. Stop the missiles, stop the declarations to destroy Israel and things will get better for all.
